@@Bernacide "SA" is Sexual Assault. Dennis and Charlie have both been sexually abused, although with Dennis, it's actually been explicitly stated and shown. The very first episode ends with the revelation that two gay men had sex with him when he was so blackout drunk that he could barely speak. In "The Gang Gets Whacked" he's forced into prostitution by Frank, who beats him when he tries to leave. And of course, the statutory rape by the librarian when he was a boy. With Charlie it's implied, but widely accepted that he was assaulted by his uncle.

They're my favorite duo in the whole show! I've always described it as Dennis thinking Charlie is too stupid or unhinged (because he often is) to feel threatened or irritated by him, and this being an excuse for him to let loose a little more around him. Charlie, on the other hand, can see through all of Dennis' posturing just like he can the others and takes advantage of it to have a partner in crime in ways he can't with Mac. Also it's funny as shit and they're both terrible awful people.

18:08 Dennis one time asked if it was like he was wearing a mask of his face, and then asked the group if they would wear a mask of his face, so he wants people to be him and emulate him to celebrate him in Charlie's dance, he eats Dennis's eyes, and then his eyes become part of Charlie's , essential having Dennis become a part of him, and that made Dennis do a pleasant gasp, I think Charlie subconsciously tapped into Dennis's desire in the song which is super ironic, Dennis feels like he won over Charlie for him wanting to emulate him, when really Charlie won over Dennis because he told him what he wanted to hear

I think its because Dennis has a bi curious crush on him and when hes high his defenses are down so hes more gay then normal. The actors themselves said every character is at least a little gay and they want you to get it without them saying. Have you been high before? Hallucinated? Not Dennis and Mac, Charley and Frank...Dennis wants to bone charley but hes struggling with his insecurities of being gay. This is all mentioned in interviews. One question was, is Dennis like Charley's big brother. The thing about Charlie and Dennis’s friendship is that it doesn’t rely on being dependent on each other like Mac. Both Charlie and Dennis are guys who pretty much do whatever they want. Mac used to be a fun guy to be around, but his faith, lifestyle definitely is made Charlie and Dennis resent him. Even Dee is considered more likable than Mac, cause at least Dee isn’t trying to bang them or force them to grease dudes like Mac does.
