The thing is, Blaire White is very clear and open about being a biological male and that gender dysphoria is a mental disorder. Blaire is also against trans treatments/surgeries on kids. In short, Blaire White is someone you can have a reasonable discussion with.

The student picked a bad example mentioning Blaire White. She is someone who lives as a woman and distinctly says she is not a woman. A recent short I came across she said at the end "and I have balls". Socially she's a she, but still maintains a realistic biological view and knows she is not actually a "woman". I have a lot of respect for Blaire White, and have done so for years since I first saw her on the Rubin Report.

"Think" is a strong word to use here. This kid was barely thinking. All his ideas were like the grass floating on top of water. Surface level, as shallow as possible, with as little effort needed as possible to retrieve them.

I love the "it's a societal construct" argument so much. Societal construct means that something was made by society- like language. Fun thing to consider, just because it was made by society doesn't change or invalidate the fact that what was made is based on reality and fact, again, like language. Sex and gender are the same thing, just like tough and hard mean the same. You can't swap sexes, you can't swap ages or species, you are what you are, and I agree with Charlie, it is cruel to pander and promote someone's delusions.

I don't think Mr. Kirk has a good look here. One example is: that the guy said "rambling", because he couldn't hear, was simply an incorrect choice of words and then he was dismissed. Also, it is no surprise that a young adult who probably doesn't speak in public very often, is less articulate than the speaker. Generally, I like these videos, but not this one.

It has NOTHING to do with public speaking and being articulate. You only feel sorry for the kid ( man) because he may have gotten his feelings hurt by a person who may be more articulate.
