And if I may add a point I have learned in my life after two marriages is that its never a 50/50 deal !!! It's always going to be a 90/10 !! some days you will give 90 and receive 10 from your spouse and other days your spouse will give 10 and you will receive the 90 In other words like Charlie says its not always about YOU .... I'm 77 yrs old Keep up the good work Charlie

My wife and I married young. She was 20 and I just turned 21. The greatest thing about marrying young is you get to experience all of life together. It’s hard to take two people who have forged an entire life for 10+ years alone to then start living life together. I do admit this isn’t what works for everyone but it can form very strong marriages. The best advice I could give is never stop striving to be better for the other. It’s so important. I’m constantly changing who I am so that I can be a better husband and father. And my wife strives for the same. Don’t see yourself as a separate person. You operate as one in everything. And center your relationship in God. It’s a day by day struggle, but the reward is worth it.

I absolutely love your comment. Thank you.❤️ I'm 53 years old and I'm divorced with two kids. They're 32 and 35 years old now and I was divorced from their dad about 20 years ago. He was very controlling and cheated on me twice that I know of. But the weird thing is, I have been thinking about him an awful lot lately. We do have two handsome grandsons since our divorce, and I have never shared those precious memories with him because of the divorce. I never thought I would even give a thought to him but life's weird I guess. 🙄😆

This man is a genius. I wish all the 20 something's I work with would see this. They constantly call out sick for no reason or because they had a rough day. They don't care about the people they work with or the people we serve in our line of work. Scary that they will be running the country some day.

So true!! The term “ the world is better with you in it” Teaches people are great the way they are! Instead we need to teach the better you are the better life will be!! Facts are important, not feelings!! I promise you, be great, in life!!! Feeling great will follow. Feelings are an excuse!!!

This where a 3rd world country like the Philipines beat the US. Armed guards on almost every establishment. It helps a LOT in preventing would be criminals from just waltzing in uncontested. In schools, it prevents kidnappers and school violence. It also helps kids grow up well adjusted in regards to the dangers of effin around like a lunatic. It also helps online markets happen because it creates more safe meetup areas for transactions to happen. The benefits are numerous.

Weird, Teachers have a Union but so many are not valued or paid enough.

Because it's not about teachers. The union is about control of education and peopagandizing students.

I like a lot of what you discuss Mr. Kirk. The way you present yourself is a tribute to your upbringing. However, I must provisionally disagree with you on one topic; marriage. In today's society of no-fault divorce and the mother getting custody of children in 99% of cases, I cannot, and will not agree that marriage is a good thing, at least not for men. To most modern woman (not all), men are nothing more than walking ATMs. Until something is done to fix the divorce and child custody laws, I would never advise men to get married. My advice to the young men out there is to work on yourself, enjoy your hobbies and surround yourself with like-minded men. And for full transparency, I am a 59 y/o male, two-time divorce survivor and I take full responsibility for where I am in my life.

I couldn't imagine living in a country where guns are everywhere... where I live it's illegal to cause bodily harm to another person, even in self defence. So there is no situation where you could point a gun at someone, use it, and not go to jail yourself. I will never visit the USA because of this. Guns everywhere just freaks me out.

Why would you be happy to live in a place where you're not allowed to defend yourself?
@bunnybomb43089 күн бұрын
@@scottmitchell1974 where I live, in a peaceful country, the concept of self defence is entirely separate from killing someone. Disabling or restraining someone is not the same as using a weapon designed to kill. No guns here. Never will be. Thank the mother.
