Now that the restoration of Charlie Rossier old race ski is finally finished its time to break it in. For that we needed the man himself so Charlie Rossier met up with us to do just that.
It was an absolute honor to have him join us and watching him ride his old ski for the first time since 1998 was epic. He was full of incredible race stories and rode the absolute crap out of this thing.
If you missed our rebuild series on this I encourage you to give it a watch because it has so many goodies that are now hard to find and each episode is incredibly detailed.This is truly a one of a kind piece of Sea-Doo history and I'm so happy to have it back up and ripping.
Thanks for watching

You guys knocked this one out of the park! It has been such a joy watching your videos of this ski progress from when you first acquired it to when the legend himself, Charlie Rossier, hopped on and gave it hell! It is incredible hearing the stories he told - You could just hear the passion he has for the sport in how he was talking. Including his stories in this video was such a cool touch that really helped bring everything alive. Hats off to you guys, you’ve done a legendary resto and an incredible video series with Charlie finishing it off 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

@@DynoSauR4Truth Nice I have one that takes 93 as well that does 65 on a Garmin gps. Best part is that the engine is completely stock no porting what so ever and everything on the ski is stock minus proper crab jetting and FA's. Stock impeller, nose, intake grate, tabs, etc. Just really aggressive water jetting, carb jetting, and proper squish to blow 180 psi.
@DynoSauR4Truth
@DynoSauR4Truth 2 жыл бұрын
@@TodayWeWrench That is impressive. I've got 46 Buckshot carbs and their V-tech intake as well. It's really doesn't have a linear power delivery with those carbs. They are pretty much like a switch with full on or floundering. It could be a jetting issue I guess. I have one of those variable valves that controls the water to the stinger on mine. It's old and I probably need to verify that it's working correctly. I only took the ski out once last year and it just sits in my basement. I'd like to trade it for a spring seat XP. Preferably an 01 model so that it would match my new 21 GTX Limited 300.

Not to be the guy that takes advantage of this video to ask a question but this has been giving me trouble for about four months now…. I have a 1994 Sea-Doo XP that I bought from a guy for $1500 and he said it’s fast and runs great ready for the water. It does run great fires right up but when I put it in the water it will bog down and have no power from about half throttle to full throttle. It revs up just fine when it’s out of the water but when it’s under a load it can’t go past half throttle without bogging down. I would appreciate any tips on what could be the problem??… I think it may have sat dormant over the winter
