Can we talk about how forgiving and patient the girl was? She didn't leave when he showed up sweating profusely, figeting nervously, smelling like Cheese and bleeding from hornet stings. She didn't leave after noticing that he wasn't even literate enough to pronounce "philanthropist". She didn't leave when he confessed everything she knew about him was a lie. She didn't leave when he told her he was just a broke janitor in a bar. It took him literally sexally assaulting her for her to realize the date is over.

This was the scene and the episode that got me into this show. I was watching comedy central way back when, and my friend was always raving about this show, so I decided to check it out... immediately became my absolute favorite. Goddamn, I love these guys.

This entire episode is one the finest examples of comedy writing ever.

Maybe I'm reading the scene wrong, but the first part of this date is actually low-key really sweet. When Charlie just gives up on his lie and defeatedly says "I'm a janitor at a bar," I read her expression as being sympathetic towards him because he's obviously trying really hard to impress her and he's nervous as hell. That, coupled with the fact that she DIDN'T immediately bail after "full-on rapist" says to me that the date may have actually gone okay had Mac and Dennis not stepped in to "help." Keep in mind that all of this is AFTER seeing his dating profile with the horrible picture and incomprehensible answers.

Can't wait for Luigi to order a milk steak with jellybeans on his date with Daisy

3:10 is one of my favorite moments in this show. Perfect example of physical comedy and Rob trying not to break makes it even funnier.
