In this video, I played through the ENTIRETY of Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion for the first time with one singular goal: to 100% the whole game. That means every boss battle, every document shredded, collecting every hat and heart fruit... All of it. And what's more than that, I decided to do it on stream in one sitting! 17:03 the gimmick is that a cat always lands on its feet, and buttered toast always falls butter side down. so if you have buttered toast strapped to a cats back, it'll rotate infinitely because both sides want to face down XD

I do! Thank you for this very heartbreaking detail - this game is real great in communicating its lore with little nudges. In exchange, here's something that stuck with me. Look at the newspaper at 32:39 - the headline's subtitle is "We're going to stop the virus!" This, plus the mask the player can find, plus the references to quarantining in Liz's earlier diaries, make me think that the lore is a layer deeper than 'just' the nuclear apocalypse. It might have started with an all-too-familiar virus situation - except in their reality it went absolutely haywire.
