@@SabineBeauchamp7 Fleet Farm and Farm & Fleet are amazing! They’ve got farm stuff, tires, sturdy clothes, food, sporting goods, outdoor supplies, lawn and garden, lots of work shoes, tools, hardware, automotive (and larger vehicle), kitchen stuff, furniture, seasonal items, pet supplies, toys, including a greater variety of farm themed toys than you’ll find anywhere else, etc. When the city newspapers want to get opinions from rural folks, they go to Farm & Fleet (the smaller of the two chains, with less furniture and a stronger tire smell).

I love small town living in the midwest. After a big snowstorm a few years ago, I was out shoveling out my driveway and was just about done when a city snowplow drove past, depositing nearly two feet of snow across the end of my driveway. When he got to the end of the street and turned around to plow in the other direction, the driver swung across the end of my driveway to clear the snow that he had deposited earlier. I always enjoy your videos, Charlie, and am looking forward to seeing your show in Cedar Rapids, IA , early next month!

I'm a strong advocate for not using shovels with a metal tip. They end up bending over time if it's icy. Either full metal or full plastic. Both work great. And basic scoop-lift combo types are fine. Don't use a grain scoop to clear out after a good storm though. Also: 2:1 Sand:Salt mix in a bucket will save you from going ass over teakettle.

I live on a small side street and most of the time the city doesn't shove my it, for a couple of years my sister and I shoveled the whole street. My neighbors did not say thank you, so now we just shovel our end. 🤷

that was me up north. shoveling the walk then our driveway then the neighbors too then the street parking in front of my apartments. seriously. no, it's not about being nice, just bored to tears when everything is closed down during a snow storm.

I don't need an ice scraper, my car self-defrosts automatically... Just plug it in and the cabin will be all nice and toasty before setting off to go to the Fleet Farm to buy a new snow shovel

I grew up in the Chicago area and even tho he hates Da Bears, I can totally relate to so much of Charlie's humor, most of which is just a satire on what is true in da midwest.
