Hey Charlie watching you make that pie nearly brought me to tears with warm memories of my mother in the kitchen preparing that pie for Easter it was always so good a favorite spring time desert in our house Your pie looks amazing I know it tastes good too I can tell by the ingredients you used and if I wasn't old enough to be your great grandma I swear I'd hop on a plane to New Orleans and Snatch you up 😁so since I can't do that I guess I'll hop on my Walker and head to the kitchen see if I have those ingredients on hand and make me a pie too. First, I really like your video style . I like the format of introduction, then ingredients, then we watch you cook with voice over explanation. I really like that you tell us what it looks like when it is done, so I can tell when it is ready. I like that you don't have a shaky camera. It's very nice to watch. I also approve of your goatee! Now about the pie. I followed your instructions and it was perfect! I personally thought the filling was too sweet, but the cream cheese topping was heaven. I saw you have a lemon meringue recipe. I will try that. Thank you for making a great video.

Lemon ice box pie is my husbands favorite pie. My mother in law made it for him every year. She passed away in April of this year. (91 good years) This was the first holiday he didn't have her to make it but I've learned well over these 29 years together and I made it for him! This December I am going to do the cream cheese topping you've done! Hope he likes it! lol

Wow! I've always made the low-fat, low-cholesterol lemon icebox pies because my family has the high cholesterol and high triglyceride problems. Ice box lemon pie is one of my favorites, and this is the richest most yummy recipe I've ever seen. You must have a good mother and grandmother who taught you how to be such a good baker! I wonder if we’re related😊 my grandmother is an Andrews and is originally from Marion LA, and I know it’s a whole lot of Andrews. I love how you explain the steps, clearly and in detail. Some videos I have to rewind plenty of times to try and figure out what they said. You made it an easy listen with great detail of all the steps. I just took the crust out the oven.
