That was for her Monster weight loss. She worked on a treadmill a lot back then, according to interviews at the time. I'm sure the not snacking helped as well. Diet is a bigger part of weight loss, so that's probably why she only mentioned that here. She also only gained 25-30 lbs for Monster anyway.

Theron's image (her product) does not allow for her to be seen as struggling to lose fat, so they have created a (fantasy) image that paints a picture that it effortlessly slipped away. It's fiction! Aysegul K. Having time and money to pay trainers is an advantage for sure, but the physical and mental mountain to climb up to get back into shape is absolutely the same amount of brutal. If I were an rich actor and someone offered me a role where I had to gain 50 lbs, I personally wouldn’t do it.

For 10 years I ate very clean. I ate mostly all whole natural raw fresh fruits and vegetables. I also worked out regularly and am an avid runner. I was happier than I'd ever been in my life. Now that I'm 43 my metabolism has come to a halt.I don't run as often as I used to but I still rn every week and get a few hours of strength training and cardio in. I eat a lot of raw fruits, nuts and vegetables - but now I also give in to that dark chocolate zucchini brownie and the gluten free animal cookies. And I've put on at least 20lbs because of the sugar and it makes me very lethargic and depressed.

Eating right really is about nourishing your body. It’s not restriction or dieting or vanity anymore when you realize you’re putting things into it that are kind and energizing.

Sebastian Elytron depends on what you call "dieting". If you just always eat 1800 calories a day, you will be skinny. (barring preexisting endocrine problems)
