@Wayne Mathews I was in Dallas from 2015-2018. We're in Denver now. Dallas seminary teaches dispensational theology. You're not alone out there, for sure. If I could give a suggestion, foster a comfortable area for people to ask questions. In my experience, 99% of covenant theologians have no idea why they believe what they believe. They don't understand the impacts of reading scripture literally vs alegorically. Nor do they think they are smart enough or educated enough to understand the Bible. Exposing believers to the truth allows them to seek more truth.

@@jtelkeI don’t think the consistency is with this pastor, it’s with the doctrine. When we learn Paul’s doctrine and see how the Spirit works in our lives and in our family, we never want anything else, because anything else will be religion. Anyone that rightly divides usually will speak the same things, just like Paul said, be of the same mind. We do have small differences here and there but usually not major errors.

I will give you some study points. open blue letter bible and search for mystery* read all the scriptures it brings up. stay in the new testament when you search. You will find the scriptures. second watch every video Justin does go to his channel and search for what you want. 3rd listen to only people teaching rightly dividing the truth, 2nd timothy 2:15 4th I consider this man too be the second best teacher in this field David Read at Columbus Bible church find him on KZfaq. right now your watching, who I consider to be the best and most spot on bible teacher on the internet. you do have to pause and back up sometimes because he talks so fast. The most important thing to do when listening to online teachers, is to pause and read the scriptures their quoting, make sure they are not twisting it to use for there own purposes.. These two teachers have never done this. OK the mystery is the dispensation of grace, it is the time you live in, it began when Jesus told Paul to teach a new gospel. The mystery is the Body of Christ, Christ in you ,you in Christ, seated in heavenly places, all spiritual blessings. there is no more Jew or gentile, we are all one in the body of Christ. Most churches don't preach it, as it really is. They lose control, if they teach the whole truth, and some are just ignorant. If you take the 13 letters of Paul out of your bible , you will not find your salvation, no body of Christ, no dispensation of grace, no saved by grace thru faith and not of works, your not under the law, these things all come from Jesus, to you thru the apostle Paul. When Jesus put him down, on the road to Damascus he saved him and told him. He is now the apostle to the gentiles. Then Jesus revealed the mysteries which God kept secret in himself, from before time. You are living the mystery, right now, we are not in bible prophesy. When you open your eyes, ears, and heart, to the truth. laid out literally in your KJV bible. you will be excited and free in Christ, confused no more seeking and learning Gods plan becomes an adventure and a way of life. Christ appeared to Paul from heaven after Acts 9 and gave him new information that had been hidden since the world began (Romans 16 v 25) The mystery is that gentiles can now be saved without Isreal and covenants and promises but by grace alone through the finished work of Christ alone. Paul speaks about the dispensation of grace that was given him in Ephesians. Check out Ephesians, Colosians and Romans. Acts 3, Peter mentions that he spoke about what was spoken about since the world began. Paul speaks about what was hidden since the world began. The mystery is the most miss understood doctrine in the church today as most follow Christs earthly ministry was is to Isreal who were required to keep the law. I’ve been trying to get clarity tho so ty for responding. Can you tell me what the new covenant (nc) is that you are saying doesn’t apply to the church. And also, Are you saying that a believing Jew is not saved the same way as a believing gentile?

@@TheEmptyeye Hi. God makes a new covenant with the House of Isreal and the house of Judah where he puts his law in their hearts and gives them the Holy Spirit . See Jeremiah 31 v 31 to 34 This new covenant is given to Isreal and Judah. Paul the apostle to the gentiles never says we are under the new covenant. We are not Isreal but members of the body of Christ. According to Paul a Jew today who belives that Christ died for his sins and that he was buried and rose again becomes a member of the body of Christ. There is no Isreal to be saved by as they have fallen but through their fall salvation has gone to the gentiles. So today a jew is saved exactly as a gentile by trusting the finished work of Christ. It's understanding the revelation of the mystery given to Paul that helps to understand. Paul says that "last of all Christ appeared to me" Christ gave new information that had been hidden since before the world began...salvation by grace alone. Hope that helps.

John 14;3-4, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.". It doesn't say they go to heaven but he goes to prepare a place and they will be with him. In Revelations 21 it says New Jerusalem will come down to earth. No, God's word is complete. There is no redemption from Hell. Hell is for eternity which last forever. There is no end to - forever. Same with our salvation. It's forever and once saved it will not and cannot end for any reason. Matt 25:46 KJV And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. hello James God told them they would be priests, that is their mission, they will be a light to the gentiles. this is scripture. when he gave the law he gave the priest hood to Levites. now incase you did not know, all Israel worked the land and tithed a percentage of there crops and goods to take care of the priests. so that is the reason for tithing. churches who guilt you into tithing to them are trying to put you under the law for their own reasons, so the Levite priest hood you could say is a shadow of what will be. you my brother are in the body of Christ none of this pertains to you except for the purpose of understanding who you are in Christ. @@jameswarren180 I totally do not understand your questions yeshua is another name for Jesus usually used by people practicing Torah I have no problem calling Jesus yeshua That's who he is but you ask me if you are yeshua that makes no sense I know you don't think that as far as prophets go there are no more prophets You are not a prophet if you believe that Jesus died for you and his blood covered your sin. Then you are saved You are justified You are a part of the body of Christ we are all equal in the body of Christ we are the body and Christ is the head. If you read Ephesians 1 through 6 this is exactly who you are in Christ if you believe Ephesians 1 through 6 then I believe you are truly saved. If you're on this channel for the first time which is what it sounds like to me you need to go start at the beginning of his teachings. Sometimes it takes the truth coming to you from all angles before you can let go of something you already believe in sometimes the truth is shared with you by someone who doesn't do it to your liking and you don't benefit from it. But if you keep on seeking and you keep on asking questions and you keep your heart open to God's truth it will come. @@sandramerimee6957 Well whatever it is I've been watching Justin for a number of years now and the scriptures have come alive as I know understand what God was doing and when and what he if doing now. After 25 years in a Charasmatic fellowship in the UK and ending up totally confused and nearly had a mental breakdown by it all I came across GA and it was like a light being turned on. When I understood the revelation of the mystery that Christ gave to Paul all suddenly became so clear. My understanding of grace increased rapidly and my relationship with the Lord became very real as I knew it was his grace that saved me and nothing I could do. So thankful the Lord opened my eyes to the truth and away from the deception of the Charasmatic movement....that's my experience but not sure if its hyperdispensationalism!

@@rickorider I was caught up in a Charismatic Church back in the 80's. It caused me much distress and nearly had a breakdown.. It was a bad experience in the short 2 years there and the 14 years after leaving. Scripture has comforted me and I see the truth now.

What is being incorrectly handled?

It seems a Prime example of eisegesis in that because they want to read Pauls epistles as a ‘new/mystery’ way of salvation they then interpret(I dare say twist) the scriptures in a way to make it fit that presupposition . I will rewatch the video and post the time stamps where the issues seems to be. One thing that comes to mind is the conflating of the words “testament” and “covenant” in the sense of how the Bible has been compiled and labeled vs the covenants of Gods dealings with mankind. In the meantime. What is your understanding of the “mystery” according to the mid-acts doctrine?

@@TheEmptyeye I used to have your view, but upon further study I began to see there is in fact a difference between Paul’s mystery and prophecy. There is myriads of verses to support the difference. As far as the covenant and testament, I agree, and I think Justin does as well. There is no major difference except in the fact one is made before you die and one isn’t. For instance, I’m sure you have heard of a will and testament. Many people make wills and testaments to leave their belongings to family after they die. This is similar to the difference. A covenant is made between 2 living parties, a testament is made by a party fixing to die, or it takes effect after that party dies. So there is no practical distinction, other than to say, the New Testament is Christ initiating the New Covenant. His death is what institutes the New Covenant, or brings it to fruition. A subtle difference, but as the author of hebrews states, you can’t have a testament without the death of a testator. You can have a covenant without the death of someone, though…… marriage for instance. My understanding of the mystery is that there was a secret kept hid in God since the world began, that God would create a new body of neither Jew nor Gentile to occupy the heavenly realm. Ephesians 2. This is in contrast to the prophetic revelation revealed since the world began through the prophets that God would bless the earth through the rise of the nation of Israel. However, Israel fell as a nation, as they rejected their messiah, and thus salvation went to the Gentiles without Israel. Romans 11. That’s a very simplistic view but you haven’t really offered specific verses as to what makes you say his interpretation of the verses is wrong.

Regarding Rom 16:25, AND 26- 25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, He stops there and claims that Paul preached a different message. That seem to be at the root of the issue I’m seeing. But If you keep reading verse 26 tells you... 26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: The mystery is made manifest by the Scriptures and Prophets. And what is that mystery? Salvation by faith is made known to ALL nations. 1 Cor 15:1-4 also seems to dispel the claim that Paul had a different message. Emphasis on v3 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: All that said. It’s my understanding that Paul wrote those letters to people that had already obeyed the gospel as exampled in Acts and was expounding the depths and mechanics of what God through Christ has done for us. Not a ‘new/mystery’ way of salvation, but the mystery was that salvation was open to all ‘nations’ and ‘peoples’ through the faith of obedience to the gospel.

@@TheEmptyeye good questions. It was Paul Lucas that said you can’t have the mystery without prophecy…. They go hand in hand. Remember, Christ came to and through the nation of Israel. Matthew 15:24, 10:6, etc. Paul starts Romans 1 out with this in mind. Romans 1:2-4. Remember Paul was a Jew, the Pharisee of all Pharisees, so he knew the Old Testament scripture better than anyone. He is stating this same Jesus of the old testament prophets, is the same Jesus I am going to communicate about the mystery kept secret. So in Romans 16:25 Paul says the mystery kept secret since the world began, but is now made manifest….. that means there is something about Christ that was kept secret since the world began, but has now by Paul been made manifest. No other prophet knew of it or spoke of it. Then, he says…. And by the scriptures of the prophets. He’s not saying mystery and prophecy are one and the same, he is saying he uses the Old Testament scriptures to prove the same Christ of prophecy is this same Christ of the mystery. Paul quotes Old Testament prophecy countless times while referring to mystery truth. Galatians 2-3, Romans 3, 4, 9-11, etc. As far as 1 Corinthians 15 is concerned, again that is true that Christ died, and was buried and rose again according to the scriptures. However, how did Peter preach it and how does Paul preach it? Peter preached it as a murder indictment against Israel. Read chapter 2 of Acts (Acts 2:23 specifically) and tell me if Peter is preaching the cross of Jesus as a good thing or bad thing. Paul says he glories in the death of Christ because it is salvation for all. 2 different messages. Galatians 6:14. Also, some things that began to help me see clearly, compare Romans 3:20 to James 2:24. Compare Acts 3:21 to Ephesians 3:5. These subtle difference are really what made me take a deeper dive into rightly dividing.
