CHASING A MONSTER TORNADO OUTBREAK - April 26th, 2024

On the afternoon of April 26th, 2024 several storms would erupt over Nebraska. These storms would soon turn into tornadic monsters are they marched across Nebraska and Western, Iowa. Multiple paths of destruction would be carved across the heartland and over 100 tornado reports would be spawned. This was the most exhausting storm chase of my life and I documented 13+ tornadoes from these supercell thunderstorms.
This day would set the stage for the incredibly active, and historic May we would have ahead.

Absolute classic. This may be the greatest storm chasing video I have ever seen. The video of the debris-filled Lincoln tornado was truly something else, and I don't think I have seen much of the Eppley tornado. Great to see some different views.

Definitely some of my favorite footage of this event. The Minden tornado when it was at peak intensity looked like a Rochelle-Fairdale and Rolling Fork hybrid. Masterpiece of a video man!

Amazing work man! As an Omaha resident who has family in Elkhorn, this was truly a day I won’t ever forget….our local news station, KETV, actually caught an amazing video of the Elkhorn/Bennington EF-3 as it was dropping to the ground. I’m sure you’ve seen it, but figured I’d tell you just in case since you weren’t able to get close to that one.

@@robsage7885 not necessarily. I really enjoy alot of his videos. But I e seen other chasers with passengers that can’t handle the chase and begin to panic and tell the driver what to do. It’s hard to watch those kinds of videos

I think we are about to see a wave of new tornados. All of the 2024 tornados almost look CG. And I'm noticing multiple vortices more defined than ever in footage every day now. We only tipped the scale with a f4 so far, and the greenfield tornado looked like f5 damage. Reed trimmers footage of that funnel is incredible. But I can't imagine what a string f5 is gonna do if it maintains the same structure as the storms so far this year

Bravo sir! Very well put together documentary of this incredibly historic day. This was probably the most intense chase day we will ever experience as chasers. You chased the exact same cells and tornados I did, including the last surprise one in Defiance at the end. You did a fantastic job in capturing the surreality of the day and is a video i keep coming back to.

I don't care that it was rated ef3. I'm still going to call it an ef5. it slabbed homes and when I was watching it live I saw basements displaced and slightly pulled out of the ground. as someone who used to live in Lincoln and Omaha and have family in Lincoln, seeing this destruction felt out of this world.

Incredible footage, think it's a safe bet to say that the Waverly, Elkhorn, Council Bluffs, McClelland, and Minden/Harlan tornadoes where all violent especially when you look at the DOW data and this footage

On April 3rd I was in a tornado warning wind was up to 96 mph and as soon a I know there’s a tornado and it was 3:30 am and ended at 5:30 luckily I was hurt my mom dad brother sister was not hurt we were all safe it didn’t hit my house but still you have to be safe

I used to live the same distance from where you were filming, sotheest of airport by Nebraska hospital (Cuming St). We would have seen it from there ill bet.
