Chasing Chad and Lori: Behind the Scenes

Two years ago today Nate Eaton and Eric Grossarth first "met" Chad and Lori Daybell. They had been in Hawaii less than 24 hours when we got a tip and then...well, you've probably seen the video.
What you haven't seen is this behind-the-scenes footage from that day. Eric and Nate documented their entire Hawaii journey - from the minute they left Idaho Falls to their return home - and have hours of video that we'll likely share one day (if anyone's interested).
For now, here's a look at some moments we'll never forget from 1/26/20. As Nate was putting this together, he kept thinking, "If only we knew then what we know now."

Cause that's her only concern is getting the SS payments from J J thru Charles Vallow's death benefits and Tylee ( if Tylee still received her SS survivor benefits from her father) monies. Goodness has to have her benefits from getting those "evil " kids off her back so she can fuck that 👿 Chad.

Normally I don't like, media stalking. But in these kinda cases, just beautiful. And Charles Vallow already knew. And warned about her. But police couldn't do anything. Arizona. So smart of Charles, to remove her from 1 million life insurance, but sadly couldn't save himself, JJ, and Tylee. Good thing, she got life. Now Chad Daybell, please also life.

I loved when your wife described you as the least confrontational person she knew (I’m the same way!) and how she was shocked that you asked them where the kids are and asked Lori why everyone else was looking for them but she wasnt!

I remember watching you live... and the instant anger and hatred.... i felt for them. I knew then the kids were not ok. But i wanted so desperately to believe she just had them hidden.... then June 9th.... was a horrible day...knowing that the kids were gone. As more information came out, that hatred and anger has continued to grow...while at the same time, my heart went out to Colby, Kay and Larry, Tammys family and the rest of Charles family. And thats where our concerns continue to be, in supporting them in the fight for justice.

Little did we know these poor children were lying murdered dismembered burned thrown away like garbage on Chad's property 😢 both deserve the DP! She knew exactly what she was doing. She had Tylee's bank cards. Stole her dead daughter's money.

Wow ...I hadn't realised Nate was on to Tammy's death that soon into his investigation. Well done .. I remember watching this and thinking how restrained Nate was.. I think I would not have been so calm .. Especially now that we know what those animals did to Tylee and JJ 💔

Rewatching this as she is on trial, thanks to Nate for bringing this to us. I love Nate. The smugness of these 2 monsters. Now hopefully in a week or so thousands of us will shout THATS GREAT AS SHE GOES TO PRISON. Actually we will say alot more as justice for Tammy, JJ and Tylee will finally start getting served.. Then hopefully Arizona will get justice for Charles. Then next year Chad will have to face the court for his.

It’s a shame that this is how I discovered Nate Eaton and East Idaho News a couple of years ago, but because of this I now know of their “Feel Good Friday,” and “Secret Santa” segments which are so full of love and positivity. The “Secret Santa” segments are now one of my favorite traditions during the holiday season because of the love they spread.

It's now 3 years after this footage was taken and Lori has been found guilty on all counts at her first trial but has yet to be sentenced. I can't wait for sentencing. It makes me so incredibly happy to know that Nates is going to be one of the last faces that she sees before they lead her away in shackles to her new future. 👏🏼
