Live: Lori Vallow appears in court in Hawaii over $5 million bail reduction request

4 жыл бұрынLori Vallow, who was arrested in Hawaii on Thursday over the disappearance of her two Idaho children, wants a judge to reconsider her $5 million bond.
A court hearing is scheduled Wednesday on Kauai, where Lori Vallow was arrested on an Idaho warrant. Vallow was charged with two felony counts of desertion and nonsupport of dependent children.
Rexburg kids Tylee Ryan, 17, and 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow have been missing since September 2019.
Police say their mother, Lori Vallow Daybell, and her new husband Chad Daybell, lied to investigators about where the children are.

Thank you to the Judge. She made it CLEAR to Lori's lawyer that she had confirmed bail previously and wasn't budging. I respect that. And the Judge made it clear that his argument was that the court made an error in setting the bail. Not very smart, dude.

It's said that the eyes are the window into the soul. It was very chilling when you see into her eyes. Her eyes accurately reflect what is in her soul! My heart goes out to those poor children that had to be raised by her, and even more at what they have had to suffer through if they are in fact gone!💔 😢 💔

The look on Lori's face when the 5 million dollar bail was confirmed is JUSTICE! This case is so bizarre because everyone in that room knows she did something to the kids... why would she defy a court order to produce them? Where are they? There's almost no scenario where any of this makes sense other than her being at least partially responsible for the kids missing. I think the whole world knows those kids are sadly most likely deceased. Lori probably wants to "expedite" her return to Idaho so she can try to flee and disappear.

Those poor kids deserved the chance to live out their own lives. No one has the right to take away someone's life, but to have their Mother be the monster that destroyed them is truly horrific! 😠

But...being locked up and not having access to the things she's accustomed to (nice car, nice home, good food, makeup, botox, hair dye), will probably kill her. If it's true that rexburg is full of these avow people, then my guess is that she's hoping to get back to the county with more of her sympathizers, and perhaps get an avow judge. She's thinking the bail will get reduced with such a judge and off she'll sprint again.

I heard someone report that she had no record of any visitors since she has been in jail and today her new husband wasn’t present in court. She was clearly looking once during the proceeding and more thoroughly after the judge left the bench. Interesting! Also, curious that she has a new attorney. Maybe she felt the five million confirmed bail was due to poor representation but the judge cleared that up today.

A year later/ she is avoiding having murder charges pinned on her by acting incompetent to stand trial. They had to have a continuance instead of read her the 1st degree charges. The kids were found in her new husband’s back yard buried along with the families deceased pets.

I like how the judge asked all those questions to the prosecutor and gave the defense a SMIGE of hope-- and then was like, " SIKE! BAIL IS CONFIRMED AT $5 MILLION 😂 That judge is savage -- wish she was trying the case but we all know Lori's gettin' sent back ... I wish they could send her back in a storage container ( alive of course I'm not evil) .. but I just feel she should have a bumpy flight back to Idaho is all I'm sayin.

.the outcome was she was charged , , convicted & sentenced fir the murders of her children & Tammy Daybell She received 3 life sentences She will stand trial in the fall on AZ. For the death of her ex husband Charles Chad Daybells trial begins in April of 2024 In btwn those cases is the attempt if murder on Brandon Pawliski - Lori's niece's Melanie...ex husband So still a lot cases involving these LDS followers .. They really put an ugly dark mark on the LDS church and leaders .. This all could of been Prevented had the police or church or friends - family listened to.Charles when he stated his concerns regarding her beliefs and what she was telling him.

From a legal standpoint she didn't run for the moral standpoint she did. she was never requested by the state of Idaho or Arizona to not Cross state lines and Hawaii yes it's the farthest state away from the mainland but it is still a state so she did break any laws by traveling through the Continental or offshore USA. still a monster of a human being I'm just saying legally that's where her law team was probably coming from.

Just a guess, but her first attorney was hired by them. To save on money they opted on a court appointed attorney for second hearing. It will be interesting if they hire an attorney in Idaho. Or are there cult members who will defend her for nothing.

Debbie Hall I think they think she will get bail in Idaho. She tried twice in Hawaii and realized that wasn’t going o happen. Sheets a free trip back to Idaho now and awaiting her at her cult following. Chad is probably already there with his silver tongue briefing the cult members.

🔷Judge asks her : Do you understand... blah blah a bunch of times. Ask her if she understands that we want to know where her children are and if they are safe?? Do you understand you are here bc you refuse to coopèrate? Do you understand that your husband is not here today?? $5M bond sounds reasonable to me.

K Wheatley, I went back and still didn’t see him. Do you have a time stamp? I watched when people came in, and the camera panned both sides and zoomed in on the prosecutor. It’s time for new glasses, but I’m not seeing the man. 🤷♀️ I noticed Lori turn around and look a couple more times during the video after I commented. Is he trying to hide from the camera?

This was 3 YEARS AGO & her prison life had just begun. It would be 3 MORE YEARS before a jury found her guilty and finally received her 3 LIFE SENTENCES.
