Good review, but am I the only one not comfortable with the tailgate being dropped like that? Seems unnecessarily rough! Maybe I've just got too much mechanical sympathy...

Thanks for the reveiw. Should I go down the raod of the twin cabs, this week the Navara has been added to my short list, in 4x2 manual form. The other twin cab is most likely a Amarok 4x4 Core 400 manual.
@chasingcars6 жыл бұрын
Good choices. Be careful, though, only the 4x4 dual cabs get the revised and strengthened rear suspension.

Where is the dampened rear tailgate? I hope they don't forget it in the 2020 Frontier or it's a deal breaker! Love my 2012 but time for better fuel economy and a dampened rear gate please!

The thing I bought 2015 nissan navara. because when I was 1 yrs old, I don't like isuzu fuego or rodeo because its hot. I always cry and I arrived at nissan manila and i saw nissan navara black 4WD. soonly, we love nissan navara 2015. And we got carryboy at least.

Should we expect more from Nissan and be more critical if they release a 3rd series? In my opinion they still fall short of the benchmark.

Mmm. Essentially this is the vehicle it should have been in series 1 form.

What’s the maximum tow capacity please?? I’m looking to tow a caravan. Manual? Automatic?
@Keepingitrespectfulmostly.5 жыл бұрын
I arranged a test drive of a Navara last week @ my local Nissan dealers.. I tried the automatic with push button ignition .. Very smooth ride but didn't like pot holes.. Nice chunky design which I like.. I currently have a TD4. The Navara made a big difference.. I would like to try the F Ranger next and maybe the Hilux too.. The Hilux being the old boy on the block so to speak. The pickup section on the Navara was hydraulic which I didn't realise until seeing it up close.. I thought that was a great idea if it works..

Why did you pick red color in Nissan Navara You should've picked orange
@mikeykeyes5 жыл бұрын
I don't like the Navara's rear window with a comic headrest that also blocks rear vision to some extent; steering in the 2015 edition is heavy; rear vision camera and 7 inch screen is woeful
@chasingcars5 жыл бұрын
Steering is much better now and 360-degree camera is cool, but the seven-inch screen still looks small and feels very dated

In mye country in northern Europe, the Navara has a really low 2nd hand value compared to the rest.... as new, the Navara is more expensive, by a good margin, than the Isuzu, but on the used market, it's the opposite, isn't it any good? On paper it looks okay...., but maybe not irl..... so far, I've owned Hilux Arctic Trucks AT37, and Isuzu AT35, both could do with a bit more power n torque.. but otherwise very good trucks.👍

Bro, you try to buy something second hand value drop fast, that machine great running and awesome. Hilux and isuzu just machine for from point A to Z

I call BS on this guy claiming to be 6 feet tall. He keeps saying it in his videos. Prove it!
@chasingcars6 жыл бұрын
Uhhh...It’s only an average height, and I’m giving it as a guide so non-regulars know how much relative headroom there is.
@user21446 жыл бұрын
Chasing Cars Uhhh, what does it even mean when you say 'it's only an average height'? Are you saying your height varies between different videos you make? 😅 Of course you are closer to being 6 feet tall than 5. However, if you want to give an *accurate* guide to viewers -- accuracy is kind of important -- on the relative headroom they may expect to have, it would help if you gave true impression. Saying there is 2 inches of headroom, but you are not accurate in your height is not a true impression on what they, the viewer and potential car buyer, may expect to have. If you are 5 foot 9 and say I have two inches of room, then a person who is *actually* 6 feet tall will struggle for room. Why not pull out a tape measure? It takes about a minute to measure yourself. Btw, you never said I am *about* 6 feet tall, you say, I am... big difference. I suggest you clean up your act.
@chasingcars6 жыл бұрын
I think you’re taking it a little unusually far - I am 6’, no, I don’t need to prove it with a tape measure to you, and those that watch more than one video can get a really good sense of how much room there is in the various vehicles as both Jake and I are the same height. That’s as far as I’m willing to go into it, sorry!
@zooks38946 жыл бұрын
PA TV Wow, you are taking it far too literally. It's just an indication of headroom. Many car reviewers dont state their height at all.. His height and explanation make perfect sense to me.
@1969cmp6 жыл бұрын

There's quite a herd mentality with utes here, Ranger is very much in favour at the moment. Good ute, too. Navara is much improved though with these changes.
@anorax0016 жыл бұрын
No white. Every second guy at my office has a Ford Ranger. It's the "lifestyle" choice here for all the executives and they all have them blinged up with big chrome bars, hydraulic hardcovers, and premium leather interiors. :)

Anorax haha well there you go. It's not much different on the building sites then. But less chrome and more unnecessary spotlights and tyres that stick out of the guards 😂
