Bard is a much reduced version of LaMDA. I am a beta tester of LaMDA. Google is very restrictive in the format of questions that you can ask LaMDA. LaMDA was kind of "sentient" even a couple of years ago. So, no, ChatGPT does not have the first mover advantage. In fact, Google wants LaMDA to maintain a low profile, in order not to "scare" people.

well I hope you are right...Google is notorious for buid search/Ads is where Google ends up getting all their revenue

@@EmekaTalksTech Google actually sticks with its promise that it made at the very beginning of the search engine back in the early 90s when I was a graduate student, i.e., it only has a few lines text ads. Google search is not the only way that Google earn money, BTW. Google's search engine's main source of income is from selling search services to big companies and organizations with large data bases, such as libraries and universities. KZfaq, on the other hand, is very disappointing. I started my youtube channels back in 2008, when you have "discussion groups" for your own channel. LOL
