Jagger is a real one. He expressed frustration, but not at anyone in particular. He refused to allow any grouchy words toward Crane, or Slacks. He even said "hey- they have to RP their characters with this as well". This is a perfect example of how you can be frustrated, without shitting on other streamers for being "on the other side" or whatever. It was only in 4.0 that I realized just how good of a guy Jagger is.

Bringing in community service would have been more acceptable

I mean he is correct, there are many rpers that play for casual instead of hard grind and as someone who hate alot of grinding i totally understand that id rather use my time creating quality content rather then be bound ? This law stops alot of rp instead of creating them because most of the city will stop doing crime to avoid this

I find myself looking back and watching RP from 2.0 and 3.0 more and more lately, and I feel this is largely caused by the atmosphere 4.0 has. Clowns are one of the few in the city that still bring that creativity and fun that I loved so much in the past. I'm wishing these guys the best.

Why this server doesn’t take into consideration that the characters are just pixels but the streamer that bases their income and platform on their rp character is effected by rp laws wanting pixelated money these are comedic relief characters cops love them crims love them grinders love them the clowns James Randel and his crew make it so the server doesn’t feel so serious and dramatic and stressful all the time not only for the viewers but the other streamers aswell this law is dumb and I hope the server owners realize that

This debt system is by far the worst thing they've implemented since the spray system and gang app in 3.0. I swear, whoever comes up with these ideas doesn't seem to think them through. I could've told you this was a bad idea before it was launched. Especially when you don't forgive the current debt characters have. Suddenly everyone gets punished for something that wasn't punishable 1 day ago. Thats genuinely braindead. Its the same with things like manual driving. When the NP trailer dropped I already said that it would be most likely tedious AF because who even enjoys driving games on a KBM and now you also need to shift gears on a KBM? Nobody would enjoy that. Everyone who plays racing games in general plays them with a controller or a steering wheel set-up. Die-hard sim racers prefer a steeringwheel with pedals. Casual (sim) racers prefer a controller. Literally nobody plays racing games with KBM but on NP you already are using the most inferior controls for driving and you make it even worse by making it manual. Its not a FPS where a KBM is the superior method of controlling the game.

again, I think characters like Chatterbox should NOT be affected by this law. Being in debt is his character trait. Working is NOT. this law is going to force Jagger to change his character's personality to fit with the server which sucks.

The issue isn't the law itself necessarily. It is how it was implemented and enforced yesterday without consideration for characters that are unique; like Chatterbox. Working off thousands in debt now from one arrest is crazy, rather than working off fines in pieces upon each arrest. Wiping the debt would have been the best way to implement this without pissing off viewers and streamers alike.

Feels like NoPixel definitely has a clear direction they want to head in with the server. I feel like a lot of their changes lately is pro-grinder and anti-storytellers.

I feel like the gang's crime rates are going to stay the same because they are constantly grinding. They'll just divide their money to make sure no one's in debt. So now everyone has to grind a civ job or become a gang member to grind crime. The crimes that the clowns do are very costly and they would have to grind all of the time to even afford to do the RP they have been doing. It makes so many characters not viable. Characters that are PRECIOUS to Nopixel roleplay like Chatterbox, James Randal, Kirk, and Mr.Ratchet (I think) cannot exist without adding hours of grinding. You have to keep the environment welcoming to all kinds of characters, it's really exclusive not to do so. So many servers are Gangs vs Cops and that's the whole server dynamic. Nopixel was one I thought was always trying to be different from that, but this is a step towards more gangs and violence towards cops.

Nopixel 4.0 has gotta be one of the least rp friendly rp server since onyx 🤦

I thought long and hard about what I'm about to type.. straight up jealousy from the higher ups. 1 of the biggest things going on is chatterbox and Ray. Now why could the law be tied to this? Cause Jagger character doesn't grind and is out there putting out a ton of great content without being a common old gang member. Now with Ray and him exploring a relationship RP. more and more people are viewing more of their stuff than the grinding. The higher ups are wanting a more serious RP and Jagger isn't totally into that. Now before this law I remember there was a clip of chatterbox telling Ray that she doesn't need to grind so hard and like few days this law pops up. So I think their targeting him in particular.

I agree with him that enforcing a brand new law that completely changes the way the server works should rollout with everyone at a clean slate. Players created the current environment based on past situations, you change the situations, you should be fair. Just my option. 😅

His skin is bright red, he’s so flustered… he’s genuinely scared about the future of his career because of this stupid RP killing rule that adds to 4.0’s “no RP all grind atmosphere.” This is 100% the result of G6’ers complaining that they have so many restrictions and the other people, they do what they want with no restrictions. Just give them additional roleplay to get out earlier and have more lesser people under carmine manage that when hes not around. They can either work off the debt in prison or get out earlier after some quality rp with the prison heads. I think this is good over all because as much as it sucks for people like chatterbox, debts mean nothing in the city right now. But they definitely need an alternative way to escape prison maybe a prison break mechanic or something who knows 🤷‍♂️

Yes, It's chatterbox's fault he's in debt but under different circumstances. You can't just change the rules at this point without some form of compensation for the impact. 4.0 staff are weird

Why don't they just make the debt penalty a multiplier for jail time. Every 100k is an additional x1 multiplier for jail time. ( Let's be real, a lot of the jail times are pardoned with "time served" anyways)

This, the hq app lock, the cars being a mess, the DNA weirdness. All these "additions" are just terrible for the streamers roleplay and content opportunities. I'm trying to think of any beneficial additions.. Being able to throw and handle items maybe.

So there are now limits on family RP, business RP, criminal RP, religious RP, comedic RP, DOJ/DOC RP and probably more. But, like how is anybody supposed to create in these scenarios? It feels needlessly hostile. It feels purposefully polarizing. It seems like the powers at be in 4.0 have been more concerned with policing the kind of role play they don’t like than facilitating good storytelling. I’m not sure who’s making these decisions, but they don’t seem to understand what they’re doing or who is watching. I don’t watch/play role play games for the chores and the grind and the punishment. We can’t forget that people are supposed to be having fun and creating interesting content. And to do that you just need to let the creative minds on the server work in peace! The consistent RP blocking from this RP server is crazy. It’s super frustrating and the stubbornness coming from higher ups does not bode well for the future.

I actually get why this law exists. Seeing serious characters millions in debt with illegal businesses, house keys, guns, bombs (in the past), etc was strange. Working out of debt/poor RP is great but instead what usually ends up happening is the character acting recklessly bc there are fewer consequences or even becoming the gang's fall guy to eat charges. This has been a long time coming. Unfortunate that it will affect characters like Chatty and James Randal but it can't be something that applies to some and not others

I dont think its all bad. 1. More rp in prison something the server seriously lacks which is ashame due to the lifers. 2. Its a solution to people trapped in debt, unintentionally. 3. It makes groups like CG second guess war with police so gang operations dont die until they work themselves free. But these issues are valid concerns

This is more interesting than frustrating. As far as immersion is concerned, I found prison time to be a joke. This could be the best way to address riotous criminal RP on a serious RP server. NoPixel's position on this is justified. Presently, viewers and players are unaware that there are now stars to be earned in prison. For instance, trading in earned tickets for prison food will be a required throughout their time served. Where that progression leads is not yet unlocked. Perhaps jailbreak RP? I knew there was a reason why the prison was privatized. Furthermore, inmates could talk about progression unlocks and possible alliances. I think that's cool. Honestly, I find it more frustrating that all players don't role play roadside accidents and ejections more often. Sadly, that performance energy can't be done every 20 minutes with the way characters operate their vehicles. There should be a vast difference between GTA Online gameplay and Roleplaying a life in Los Santos.

I think debtor law is fantastic. They just need to cap the time to 4 hours in prison or something on top of your issued time and it will clear all your debt. Then you don’t need to grind for days outside of prison to clear 6 figure time.
