Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is a very small Wildlife Sanctuary. You should go to mighty Kaziranga National Park. You will need at least 2 Jungles safari. One is Elephant and other one is Jeep. You can explore World's smallest River island Umananda in Guwahati and World's biggest River island Majuli. You should use Zoom Car, Road Trip in Assam is not tough. But in Shillong you should be skilled to run car in Hills.

This places need SUV with air suspension mate. Too much bumps for wildlife adventure and maruti Suzuki suspension is from last century 😅 I like wildlife commentary. It was hilarious 😂. Given Guwahati is on the east it should be technically on a different time zone but it is not hence it seems that sun goes down early and comes out early too even in winter. Assamese daals are amazing - hands down, different taste than North Indian version.
