The struggle is absolutely real and most people don't realize how hard it is. Yes, some of it is brought on by the individual and its there fault but sometimes its not and as a society, we like to put people in "boxes" just like we put God in a "box" or whomever the higher power is. If I could rise out of the darkness that I did, anybody else can do. Blessings to you my friend. Keep up the good work.

Bro I love your channel, It reminds me SO much of the first day I got out of jail (I was only locked inside for a month and 1 day) but even those 32 days being locked inside made me realize how amazing life really is. I remember the first thing I did was sit on the curb outside my house, and I could just feel the sun on my face, I hadn't felt that in over a month. The second I sat down I just started to cry my eyes out. We never realize how far off the beaten path we get in life, just getting so caught up in it. I never forget that day, and whenever I have a bad day I just remember that day when I had absolutely nothing, but I was probably the happiest man on the planet. Just sitting on a curb... Enjoying the sunshine... Alots changed since those days, I'm over a year sober from alcohol and drugs. I have a house, a girlfriend I'm going to marry, animals I love so much. Never forget where you came from, or the things you had to work for to get to where you are today. Im a snowboard instructor now, and every time I get to the top of the mountain for my first run of the day. I always cry just reflecting back on my life, wishing I had figured things out a lot sooner. Im glad you make these videos to help show people the sides of life they have never had to live, and or dont understand. Your an amazing man and I wish the best of luck to you. I did a project in 8th grade (10th grade now) where During the winter put together bags of stuff they might need (hats, gloves, meal tickets, toothbrush, etc.) and took their photo and asked them for their story and made a book about all of it. It was so sobering. Thanks for spreading awareness!

From someone who was homeless with kids for about 5 years. It's harder than anyone thinks. It's not just "oh get a job" yeah but then you need so much stuff (food, clothes, soaps, etc) that money doesn't go far especially with kids. It's so hard to break down and ask for help. Thank you for bringing light to the struggles it truly takes
