Someone had a good suggestion which is to clean the brake rotors with alcohol to remove any oils before first riding.

@@retail69 Yes, good question. You can ride this with no electric power. The bicycle works as a normal bicycle so you will never get stranded. This is a requirement in my book.

Follow up: the tires are a discussion on their own. Basically they appear tough but the rubber is too thin so people put reinforcement strips and use slime tire repair to seal it.

Great bike and introduction to the Idpoo. Totally agree about the short wheel base, and very well illustrated by the peddle/front tire distance. I’ve clashed with mine a couple of times. On the positive the styling is I think one of the best if you like, as I do the motorcycle’ inference. Must admit to having made a few mods to mine taking advantage of its styling I think.

I brought one! 😮 A 4" adjustable handlebar riser has made ALL the difference 👌 3500 miles so far 😊 loose pedal and punctures have been the only issue......

On Kingbora it is currently listed for $299, with free shipping! The same bike on Amazon is $800. I don't need this bike, but saw it on a pop-up ad. Though I rarely press pop-up ads, I did this time because it said $300. Now I'm thinking of buying it, just because. I'll probably give it away after I'm done playing with it.

It’s a good bike. I’ve made some changes on my one. I’ve done 1500 miles on it. So far no problems with it.

@@MODELEBIKES-gw2hj black cat tires. Air suspension. Straight shorter handlebars. Electric mirror. Red spokes. Red covers for the break levers and some more things. Still use it as of today I have nearly 2000 miles on it.

i believe they changed the branding to riding times, got this one over the Ridstar q20 hope it does well for me. might mod it, definitely taking off front fender

The Riding Times is very similar but the frame is a little different. The head tube is a little shorter and they removed the lower tube coming off the head tube, I also think the rear shocks are mounted a little differently.

How can I think how this bike is due for good introduction it's not if I didn't upgrade bike and made panels and I other jobs the bike is rubbish but good to upgrade

When you buy this bike the brake pads have to be done the caliper you have to take spacer out so pads go ferther on disc you can tell by mark on disc the brakes ere good when odds hit full on disc you probly only had half the pads grip the disc

I did see this, no one really talks about this. When I watched a video about "adjusting" the brakes, they only say to loosen and tighten the bolts.

@@alby13 hi brakes first loosen adjuster are lever and caliper slacken them off if your disc has half a mark on you neef6to take washers from caliper two bolts put one washer on each. Adjust caliper with Alan key just a slight turn put caliper on disc hold tight with hand7pull lever till it's about 1 to 2 ins travel put bolts in but don't tighten leave a full turn to tighten pull lever keep it there tighten bolts that's it then do other one. So when psdds where down you can adjust at lever or caliper cable turn. Hope that helps

I think the suspension is about 90% there. It's not perfect, but very serviceable and comfortable. The power is actually quite good, I would say above average. However, even though it accelerates well up to speed, this is not the *best* bicycle for top speed. There are others for people who want to squeeze out high speed for fast travel.

Im getting one soon and it says the brand is riding'times so like is it the same thing? Also this is my first ebike and im so excited im young n dont really have a car yet but i got this for now it says its 1500w and goes 28 to 30 mph n has 75mile range and i got the bundle with the extra battery so theres that lol

The battery works good every time. There is an odd issue with it and that's that the charge indicator on the battery itself reads as one bar after riding it once. It starts at full bars after a charge, but then it just stays at 1 bar. The weird/interesting thing is that there is a battery indicator on the display on the handle bars. That one seems to be more accurate, but not perfectly accurate. It goes from full, down a tick at a time as you ride, but it seems to say low pretty early. I have never ridden the bike long enough to use all of the battery yet, but I am planning longer rides.

It seems like a common part. I'm sure there are places that collect these parts, probably bicycle repair shops and ebay. Check online for ebike parts store, let me know if you find one.

Turn bike on hold the front break lever in and pull the throttle fully back for 30 seconds and unlocked top speed

To be onist it's crap till I upgrade it and changed the look of the bike I've got 1500wat kit on changed krank arms to kiddies 5ins now I can pedal I heighten the seat with upvc box buy nearly 3ins my conntroller is 40amo battery 52v 20amp on stand 52mph on road 42moh. The wheelbase should have been longer. Wing mirror comes from frame rubber from under handle bars indercater in mirror now it looks like a ebike you won't see a bike like this on utube it looks different to the one your showing on utube

@@alby13 I've made alot of short videos of upgrade to panels lights and kit even out Of the kiddies krank on to pedal the bike roe seat height by 3ins using upvc it's the best bike at that model mirrors under bars on suspension rubber bushes and lots more. These a lad called ray he's done his like Caffè raser but still has 750wat I've told him to up grade to 1500wat it make bike better and smoother rear suspension works better with heavy wheel
