Yes I am aware of this now after avfew people have commented - I thought it was maybe going a bit faster but I defintely wasn't seeing the increase it said it had and this explains why!

@woify9304 It's capped, theres not much if anything you can do, only so much you can squeeze out of the motor, you'd have to get a more powerful rear-hub motor instead I think

I have an ebike that is 750 watts and it’s heavier and hose faster than that bike and this bike is 1500 watts

Oh cool, glad to hear the price has dropped! :) I definitely over-paid for mine relative to the actual specs of the motor and the battery but having it mostly assembled and being a proper thick frame / thick tyres has been a big improvement on a converted mountain bike

Honestly its been a beast, I had to ride it in the rain constantly in UK winter just gone - the chain has seen better days and needs replacing (but I don't actually pedal so doesn't matter too much) but yeah all electronics are covered under seat, tyres are fat so grips well 👌

Unfortunately I would not be able to advise on the bike that you're looking for sorry, but sounds like you'd need a beast for no pedal steep mountain trails! 🚵‍♂️ try searching "ebike for steep mountain trails" on KZfaq or even use Bing's CoPilot AI to give it your context of age/dimensions as it might give a more nuanced answer..hope you find what you're looking for 👍

No the specs of this make it not street legal unfortunately, but majority of ebikes buzzing around here in UK are over legal limit for specs anyway so I don't stand out riding it full speed 🤷

@@meta_print Hey thanks a lot for the quick and honest reply! Sucks that the laws are so tight with ebikes in so many places! Dont wanna risk getting checked in austria and getting fined with driving an unregistered moped on a bikepath haha (which cops would count this as) but on the other hand not sure how often they really do check. Would be nice, with the push towards e-mobility, if we get an update to the laws soon 🤞 In the meantime I suppose 250W isnt terrible as I mainly ride flat pavement in the city…

This is also a 1000 watt system - Can't speak on the reseller, tbh I just took somewhat of a gamble the 1 with most / highest reviews on amazon. If you can afford it, find one with 1500w or better battery specs as sometimes the speed and battery power can be limiting unless you're just using it for short inner-city commutes.

Did you manage to work this out?

Not unless you upgrade the actual rear motor, there's only so much speed you can get out of that wattage.

​@@meta_print actually you can easily get 1500w through that motor but will mostly give you more acceleration and just 5-10km/h boost for much shorter range.

Full throttle 30mph no pedals I can get about 55 minutes

@detectiveben1 when I first got it, I could prolly get like 25 honestly, but its not nearly as efficient anymore as I think I was putting too much stress on battery full throttle up hills everyday, and overcharging at night so it only does like 18-20 now, not sure exactly

My previous ones have been mountain bike style, but built from kits. I'm not too crazy on regular thinner tyres at higher speeds. Feels a bit unstable sometimes. I do like the look of some of the mountain bike style ones at this higher price point but I wanted something different this time...plus visually this one just looks cooler I think 😎

@@meta_print have you seen my video on same bike I've upgraded to 1500wat 5 leval of PAS I upgrade seat height but didn't make much difference when sitting seat I go down in seat so reduce distance from peddle I think I'm going to make to 3ins then get smaller krank arms about ins and a half less hour take leather of seat cut foam through middle near top put that foam in that came with bike it's about half an ins buy new cover same colour and cover seat I'm using battery staple gun by on amazon all the items are quite cheap. Yes when I measure my other bike I'm six ins short in distance between seat and krank so doing that up grade shoud make a difference. Let's put the weather is no good for bikes so ues winter to upgrade for spring

If you don't want to mess with DIY kits and want something that works out the box (after assembly of course) then yeah I'd say go for it, it looks good, it's comfy to ride...just don't expect to be going super quick and anywhere too far, it's a local cruiser 🙂

@@Mdnghtnoir my bike when it came has two flat tyres when I took tyre of the tube was ripped at valve. The front forks when brake applied it eoud rock. I've done all the bike up with panels and carbon fibre now motor 1500wat controller 40amp battery 52v 20amp get over 40 the power is tremendous. That's what I call a bike now 5 speeds on my display button just like a clutch

I am 196cm and I'd say I look just a bit too big for it so sure you'll be fine 👍

Thanks for watching 🙂 I have refocused the channel away from ebike stuff to 3d printing, metaverse and AI 🤖 tbh there's not much of an update I can give, other than battery not lasting quite as long as it did (possibly cause I always left it charging too long) but it's still running smoothly, and apparently alot cheaper now someone said 🤔

I am 6ft 4, it is a low rider so it's not the biggest bike but I can sit quite comfortably with my long legs! 😅

In the video, I show the speed counter maxing out at 22, then adjusting wheel diameter in settings allow speed counter to go up to 30mph, although the actual difference in speed when riding doesn't feel like an additional 8mph so not sure if it's completely accurate 🤔

It isn't. To increase speed, you will need to go into the p settings. It's the same display as the zooz, so I imagine the same way to unlock the speed.

@@meta_print I don't it will be a difference, the extra speed when testing it comes from like you said a ''counter''. So yes you changed the diameter it thinks is so it changes the position ''faster'' based on new diamater where it needs to be to vpwhwee the sensor is at and therefore tris to adjust and moves/spins ''faster'' giving more rooms therefore more mph ''calculated''....hiewever that doesn't mean extra ''power''. You have certain amount of power and no more. Normally the 1000w motors are the ones that reach 30mph in escooter and bikes, being a 500w it will give you ''half''(15mph with 25nm of torque maybe) of that. Heck my 1000w scooter has half the torques of my 1000w ebike.... bbeing half he size of the wheel :10"(30nm of torque) VS 26""(60nm of torque) and my scooter STILL reaches 30mph.... ( 33mph and 27mph) respectively. So no I don't is accurate like you said you don't feel the extra milage because you don't have the extra power, lacking compared to the other 1000w ebikes

@@mylifepoetic I don't think you extra milage from that, the bike simply won't go that fast,/have enough power to move said weight by changing a setting as is nit limited by default rather you messing with calculation, the freewheleng of the motor went be the same with weight on the ground. Is the same but in reverse as offroaders and rednecks do ..iput bigger tires of what the car was designed with......f you put bigger tires in your car without adjusting your your speedo, you will be going like 22mph on your speedo but you will actually be like 27mph in reality, hopefully NOT in a 25mph scool zone with a cop by. But your car suddenly didnt go from pick up truck a tractor trailer power to pull containers just because has bigger tires. I have 250watt e-bike and I can get 23mph. On this bike I can get 30-32mph. Granted I am lighter and smaller. But a 500watt is enough for me. Plus I have been stopped by the police all because he wanted a go on it. Obviously I said no because it has a throttle 😂

Yeah twist throttle - I go back and forth on my preference on this, some of mine are twist and some are thumb.

Depends who's asking 😂🚔 Licences and plates are becoming more of a requirement for these yes, however the way I ride it I can fly under the radar a bit because I'm not treating it like a motorcycle, I act as if I'm a regular bike and keep to the side to allow cars to overtake, plus using bike lanes when I can 🚴‍♀️🚗

That is correct, and no I haven't been stopped. Police in my area seem more concerned about the DIY kit ones and the Surrons, although there have been a few ebike delivery guys with bikes similar to this that have had theirs taken away recently 😶

This bike is road legal as long you ride at the write speed 17mph and it's got to have peddles witch this bike has I've ordered one mine is 1000wat I'm selling a bike that does 51mph I've been next to police cars many times I've had one police asked where I bought my bike it was a kit it's the way you do your bike up if it looks like a pit bike then the police look if you want to do higher speed then you have to go on a track or feild so on. The bike I've got to sell I was doing 30mph police car came up behind I seen him in mirror I slowed down and started to peddle he stopped behind me for a few minutes then turned of. Ask Andy kirby my partner has a 250wat it does 23mph it's a flold bike if you sit and ues throttle and go to high speed then that's when police get your attention. If you do get court you get a warning but who is going to put number plate on a ebike mountain high power it would look bloody stupid. The government it's an excuse to make money. On a mountain bike just a plain bike you can do 40mph going down a bank on a road and you don't get pulled by police I've got one word for this law stuff it guy fawks should have blown up parlimant

@Y0SH1zzzz There is a slight delay on throttle yes, everything else your complaining about seems like you just got a bad one. I have none of those other issues with 15 months constant usage 🤷‍♂️
