For less than $30, I was able to fix a broken concrete statue. Full disclosure, I'm not a professional but I think I did a decent job of putting everything together.

Thank you so much for this video. I recently fell over my 35 year old garden Pan and broke off his hands and flute. This video saved him.

Hopefully you never have this situation again, but if you ever do, then wet (damp) your concrete pieces before you use the cement mixture to stick them together. Cement uses water to form hydraulic bonds which hold the concrete together. Applying the mixture directly to "bone dry" concrete will cause water to be drawn from the repair mixture into the concrete. This will weaken the bond. Pre-wetting the concrete to be patched will help ensure the water stays in the patch where it is needed for the chemical reaction to occur. (6:30) Don't re-temper the mix (add water) It makes it weaker. Make a new mix instead. Or use a chemical retarder to give yourself more working time.

Thank you! Trying to fix my grandmother's 50 yr+ VM statue from beach corrosion. I'm having some issue with finger repair. But I guess she can still bless you with half a hand! Lol.

Fingers are very difficult - try drilling two corresponding holes and inserting a rod/wooden dowel. Won’t be perfect but will be strong.

I was wondering, is there a 3d printer that makes the model than you mold it for concrete? I'm trying to figure out the process. Everybody always starts with a model but never go into detail how they acquired the model. I'm studying 3d modeling. I plan to learn more about 3d printers than molding.

The wind 🍃 blew over 🌬️ my garden statue of Venus ♀ and her head has broken off I've tried to glue her head back on but it's not worked???

You probably need to use the concrete repair materials that I used in the video or something stronger. Make sure everything is lined up when you're "gluing" it back together. Also make sure it's in an area where nobody can bump into it while it's drying. The prep work is key. The statue is still holding up til this day for me.
