Great batch of CDs!!! Especially the Wishbone Ash CD!!

I've been way more selective about the Blue Note reissues as well - the last one I bought was Lee Morgan, Search For The New Land. I couldn't pass that one up. The US version of the Clash debut has a different tracklist and came out a few years after the UK version. If your copy has I Fought The Law and White Man In Hammersmith Palais then it's the US version. I think the US version is better! Get Happy is a great album. I have it on vinyl but I'd love to find that CD with the bonus tracks. Glad you found some great stuff!

Hi Edward I totally agree with you regarding prices of vinyl.. I feel that we the buyers could have control of the situation if we stoped buying vinyl then the other side would feel the sting instead of us the ones with limited budget… But there are people that will continue to complain about the prices of vinyl and still pay the high prices none the less… Nice CD’s Edward. Killer Essential Clash, I still need to stop streaming the Clash and finally get some in my collection. Joe Cocker is nice.. I grew up listening to Billy Joel ‘An Innocent Man’ Nice Wishbone Ash!! Hey Edward, I totally understand your point with the vinyl prices these days. I buy way more cds than vinyl nowadays. Prices of new vinyl are getting out of hand (I noticed used vinyl is getting pricier too). I am not gonna pay 40 bucks for a record if I can buy the same new album on cd for 10 to 15 bucks. If I am buying vinyl these days, I am more picky with what I want to have on vinyl. Finding cheap (second hand) cds can be exciting. Looks like you scored well for a few bucks. Hi Edward. I’m with you on the prices of LPs. I can see myself almost stopping purchasing them if the price increase trend continues as sharply as it is. In the last 6 months, I’ve probably chopped my purchasing by 75%. I’ve been sampling the Gurdjieff Folk Ensemble and love it. Will probably order it. Love ECM. Enjoy the tunes, brother!

Hi Edward!!! i totally agreeand understand your point of view and opinion about vinyl and their retail prices..... i only buy records with a significant markdown and have no issue getting cd in my collection, they might not be as "cool" as vinyl, but i will never pay $50 for a single disc.... cheers and be well
