Go for a 2013 with a 8 speed, don't bother with intakes it's been proven they lose power, stick to panel filters in stock inbox, spires stage 2 exhaust, supercharger pulleys, upgraded charge cooler and pump then vievu tune, sit at about 630hp at crank and 600 ish lbft torque

I have a 2013 XF Supercharged 5.0 and it is an amazing car! The issues that needed to be taken car of was the supercharger coupler and replacing the plastic coolant crossover pipes with metal ones which are both known issues in these engines. I got it for a reasonable price, so putting some money into it was worth it for me. Also, I replaced the factory air filters(which I highly recommend) with Ramair cone filters and the supercharger whine when you get on it vs factory (zero) is night and day. Looking forward to what you will be doing to the Jag, liked subscribed and hit the bell.

Yeah Im with you on these, think they are really overlooked and great value. Even here in the UK people tend to buy a German car over these. Im gonna be looking at getting the facelift model in the spring.

I have an XF Supercharged, 2010. I'm going to follow you on this journey and see where it leads you. I bought mine from the dealer in 2019 used, for $17,100 out the door with 36k on the clock, and 5 years later, I'm about to turn 60k in a few miles. I baby my car badly. Never has she seen the redline. I've only once put the throttle to the carpet and that was while I was moving over 40mph. The only thing that has gone wrong with her is a replacement driver's side window regulator that cost me $1,000 to have repaired. Only one set of tires (Ohtsu) for $500 and oil and filter changes. I think soon it will need new brakes and rotors and I'd love to do a complete fluid service change to keep her running well. Crossed fingers that I have yet to experience common failure points such as the cracked plastic water tube behind the supercharger, chain tension guide wear/failures, and supercharger pully snout coupler/spring assembly. I'm also REALLY interested in the performance upgrades that you plan on doing, such as the pully swaps, ECM tune, and additional gauge package (I too am so sad that the dash doesn't contain such BASIC info on things like coolant temp., oil pressure, state of battery charge, etc.)!

I have a 2012 XFR I love it

Its a beautiful car. I have a 3.0 litre V6 petrol normally aspirated XF and its been faultless from new. These cars are gorgeous from EVERY angle, people's heads are always turned when I pull up at the lights or at the kerb. Personally, I think that Jaguar have missed a trick by not continuing to make the big engined models such as the 3/4/5 litre XF and XJ models. Now that Britain and the EU aren't phasing out petrol /diesel new car production till 2035 ( ironically the original date set for phasing out by the EU was 2035 then they changed it to 2025. The Conservative Govt of Britain THEN changed it back last month to 2035 for Britain and this time the EU followed Britain's example- if the Conservatives lose the next General Election then the Labour Party will probably change it back to 2025!!) as electric car sales have ABSOLUTELY TANKED in Europe. You're a lucky man to be able to get hold of a 5.0 SC tuned XF. Good luck with it and I hope that you have years of great motoring with your Jaaaaaag.
