Impressive cleanup. Makes me wonder what's underneath my cars' protective layers of dirt.

Now ya talking… my eyes glaze over when Jeep’s are the subject. I just love older Jeep’s!. While driving around, and cars are passing by … none catch my interest, but when a jeep is coming at me … ASMR😍

It is incredible how the paint came back after polishing. I have so much admiration for your hard work and stamina to follow though to completion in all these projects which turn out amazingly. 🙌👍💪

Amazing how you brought the Jeep back to old glory in only eight minutes :-). Looks like a nice and complete ride if the engine is coming back to life as well. Looking forward to see how this project is going along.

JNH Classic, you lucky bastard. I got an opportunity to drive a Jeep just like that (also the same color), on the island of Rhodes, Greece some 20 years ago. Blue sky, sun was shining and 86°F. It was freaking awesome... I am very very envious....

Love your work ethic, I’m in too deep with my project and I check videos when I need breaks. I save a lot of time wet sanding the car very light with a fine grit (800 grit or higher) with soap water before polishing with compound. Or I’ve used also scotch brite pads and wash the car. I don’t get too crazy with it but it does cut the top coat better making the polishing so much easier. You did a great job with this Jeep. God bless and keep uploading more videos.

What was the grit of the pads used (aggressive)? I know each of these ebay sellers have their own color-combos, so hard to say which one you used. I have similar project and do not want to burn through old brittle paint.
@Jerod_Helt
@Jerod_Helt 6 ай бұрын
I use the orange pads which are the firmest “most aggressive”. But the buffing compound is what makes the biggest difference. I also use the most aggressive compound. You do have to be careful on body lines and edges not to burn through the paint.
