The SRT-4 engine is so much fun, I made a sand rail out of one, RWD and made about 310 hp to the wheels after damn near blowing the thing up and rebuilding it from the ground up. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a stage 2 fbo r56 turbo mini as my first car. Let me tell you Its is a super fun platform especially if you get the 6 speed manual. Reliably is a big concern with these if there not taken care of but if you can find one with good service records and that was treated right there great cars and you can make good power out of them.

I enjoy my daily driver. 2010 Ford Taurus SHO. All Wheel Drive Twin Turbo 3.5 liter V6 with 365 HP and 350 ft lbs torque. Stock with a OBD2 tune; I uploaded a 93 octane Stage 4+ tune to get 400+ HP and 440+ ft lbs of torque. Many examples can be found under 10k.

A LOT of the VW/Audi lineup is turbo. VW GTI/Audi A4 both have around 200hp/200tq and can be tuned to get to 300 pretty easily. There is also the Jetta, A3 or if you want something bigger, the CC, Passat or A6. All are available with the 2.0T.

Looking at these car prices years later is so painful. Cars were so effin’ cheap. Now any car on this list costs easily up to double what’s listed in this video. I bought an 08’ G37s 6mt coupe right after the pandemic first started for 8,500. Now there’s no doubt I can sell it for more than I bought it for.

Srt4. Actually bought one and it still runs great. But. I would advise to keep it as stock as possible. I daily drive it, it has 120 k miles.

I would get either a late 90's Chevy Blazer or a S10, the two engine options where the Vortec V6 or the Iron Duke i4, the V6 was sporty as is, but you get the Duke, the Duke makes the 2J look like fine China, this engine was meant for working, you couldn't kill it with hell fire. Anyway you get the Duke and you put a turbo on it the size of a planet, and maybe some work to a couple other things, all the fun you could ever want

Brad u totally forgot the Chevy cobalt ss turbo. I had one they r 260 HP stock and with simply a catless dp. And a.custom tune 330 is easy. Start adding intercoolers chargpiping and exhaust ive seen 500hp all day long. Plus super easy and reliable to work on and came factory with LSD 2 step launch control and no lift shift

I got to drive an Abarth once and boi are they slept on! I was mostly surprised by the fact that at 6’3”, I fit comfortably in it lol. Best sounding 4banger hands down! And be sure to get the manual, you won’t regret it!

Edit: 2g Eclipse GS-T or GSX. Legendary 4g63 motor Bought an SRT-4 brand new in 2004 (first year of the standard LSD). Big turbo, full fuel system, etc…. 525HP, 498wtq. She was fun, and torque steer was way too for reals on that thing… holy hell.

Another Mopar thats generally forgotten, a potential sleeper and still using the 2.4L turbo charged engine that the SRT-4 Neon is the PT Cruiser GT. Many of the SRT-4 parts will work with this weird and some say ugly little car but it also has a factory removable back seat that you can pull out to save weight for track days and it can make nearly as much if not the same horsepower numbers as the Neon. The other Mopar that shares this 4 cylinder turbo motor is the Caliber if your looking for something newer

Lmao, The N54 is rock solid. Gotta love it when these non car guys make videos using some brand stereotypes in the absence of actual knowledge of a platform. 1. The video you use in your example of how unreliable the n54 is actually an M3 (probably spun a rod bearing and punched a hole in the block common s65 issue) notice the quad pipe exhaust M3 rear bumper M3 fenders M3 side mirrors and M3 hood with bulge….2. The N54 was BMW’s first crack at turbo engines in a long while so they over engineered everything. As such it’s one of the most reliable cars they made. The engine is bullet proof with some who’ve run the stock block all the way up to 940whp. So 700whp reliably isn’t shit. Worst part about the engine is the valves get dirty due to direct injection however with a single turbo build your going to need to run port injection to supplement thus negating that issue. 3. If your going to swap turbos upgrade the fueling ect it stands to reason you’ll end up doing your own work on the car so maintaining the car isn’t bad at all. Hell my 335i had a bad transmission back in 2015 cost of a trans with 36k miles $700, fluids $180 done. The 335 is so old and so modified anything that was ever expensive to replace has now gotten a cheap usually better aftermarket option. 4. 4K minimum to hit that 700hp on a single turbo? No shit. The single turbo kit alone is 6k let alone fueling, cooling, tuning, exhaust ect

1. all the clips for the genesis are 3.8 not 2.0t 2. highest hp in this generation of the 2.0t is about 520 whp the higher number in the upper 700’s is mostly achievable by the 3.8 v6 with single or twin turbos
