I really enjoy your videos. There is only one other channel with such a concept I know of and I like your style better. Especially your last ones were commented great (via text; I would not want other audio as the banter with chefs and waiters).

Even with the most restrained teppanyaki chefs, there is a certain degree of hucksterism. They can't stop messing with the food.

Yep. Makes me to appreciate American BBQ chefs even more. They actually treat me as a hungry person. This is just.. whatever it is.

This is part of the experience. Some people pay the fee specifically for the theater of the cooking. It adds very little to end end product, but the sounds and interactions create an almost asmr response. It's definitely not for everyone. In fact many westerners find the whole experience grating. Hence why these restaurants are typically in Asian country's.
