Seem more appropriate for Armageddon Steel Legion really

They way you've painted them, reminds me of the rebel infiltrators on endor in return of the jedi

Like the easy yet effective colour scheme

Will be picking up a few boxes to do Armageddon Steel Legion. Both the RaumJaeger and the Steel Legion are visually based on Fallschirmjaeger. If you wanted to do Krieg, the Grognards with some headswaps would be much closer, as they have the greatcoats. Either way, it's SO much cheaper buying these than buying Cadians from GW. Cadians are $7.70 per model here in Australia, Atlantic's products are about $2 per model.

These troops look great, I'd love them to be on our game board. Those are really cool models. Good show.

I've never been sorely disappointed with anything I've ever got from Wargames Atlantic. Their lizardmen had limited body types (four, I think), which made it difficult to make them not look like they're linedancing. And they only had two arms holding firearms, a musket and a kalashnikov. With a bit of patience, imagination, plastic cement, and miliput I got them kitted out with some surplus imperial guard parts. The stormtroopers, though, were much better, with separate legs and torsos, plus a lot of head and weapon options. The comscripts box was in-between, much better than the lizardmen, not quite as good as the stormtroopers. I have a box of these guys on order, but they are coming with the new Stargrave supplement (which is still on preorder). I plan on painting them in a drab scheme to run as generic bad guys in sci-fi rpgs. I generally like Wargames Atlantic for the role they fill in the hobby. They do yeoman's work at a very fair price. Their quality is improving with every release, and I am really looking forward to their take on the Mordians come May, oh, and their horse kit, too, for your sci-fi cavalry.

Yeah can't go wrong with the price, 24 models (platoon) for £25, they look good and i'm sure you can buy some official 40k weapons from flea-bay to stick on them to make them look the part. Just a shame I've already got two platoons of mechanised infantry, could maybe make them a penal legion, PDF or conscripts. I wish GW prices were like this now-days, they're double the price if not more.

It's always good to hear of cheaper ways to play the game, as I just can't afford to shell out for official models. Since I'm also a total novice, could you tell me how these models could fit into a kill team? Would I need separate models for scions or could these be converted?

I like these videos if you want to make a "just for fun" army but honestly at the end of the day whats the point of official models if you just proxy everything ya know?

Why does everyone say these are Krieg proxies? The Death Korps are inspired by WW1 Germans. These figures are Armageddon Steel Legion proxies. As these models and the Steel Legion are both inspired by WW2 Germans.

Do you do any kind of sealant or varnish or anything over the top of your miniatures normally?

I reckon that would look cool as like a imperial guard heavy infantry, I know that’s not an actual unit from games workshop but it would be cool regardless

Wargames Atlantic make some great kits, however what annoys me is that they haven't done a British box in their Great War range. Perhaps they forgot the British but for now it's German & French only 😜

Why not just dip the models instead of washes?

They're alright but they don't really look like Deathkorps of Krieg...

How long does postage take?

*Inexpensive, not cheap.

35 $ for 4 models, 105 $ for a 10 man squad. Its more expensive then actual FW DKK models.
