I bought mine Alaska 520 Pro June 2024, So far zero complaints , I'm 6ft 190lbs and the Top speed so far was 39.8 mph on a flat smooth surface while ghost peddling . loving it from Canada ,Ontario . Great Bang for the Buck.

Always a great review. For that price though I paid a little more for the philodo jumbo and it has dual motors and two batteries. Tons of power and almost the same speed. I got it up to 34 myself but I’m also 250lbs. I’m sure you’d could get it up even faster

I have decided I like the "California Incline" for testing a bike's hill climbing power. And the cherry on top is your barreling toward that concrete wall at the bottom of the Incline.

yeah, as long as you have the right frame, you can swap for a more premium rear shock. Much cheaper than a second battery tbh

I have this bike. I changed the controller, and it does cruse control at 35, no problem. I mostly stay in ped 2 and avarg 40 miles and still have 3 bars

Bigger capacity batteries make the bike go faster because they do not drop in voltage as much under load. All batteries, wiring, and controllers drop more and more voltage with increasing load. The Higher capacity battery maintains a higher voltage under load so with a higher voltage to the motor it produces more power and the bike goes faster. Dual batteries are especially good to reduce wiring losses because there are 2 wiring paths in parallel to share current meaning each pack only has to supply half the current so again, that is a win win to keep system voltages high.

Dude have you seen the new Wired Ebike it's adding a 15ah battery with the 20ah for 35 ahs and a battery blender , dual piston brakes a programable ped so you can customize your battery % used (great feature) , a more secure suspension , a metal bracket for the headlight , a 45amp controller and a more powerful motor for faster speeds and a through axel with quick release along with a longer axel on rear for a trailer bracket . I agree with you on the battery integration. I am generally not a fan of those because they can fall out, but it does look sleek and slick. Bikes are really coming along way and it will be interesting to see what this tariff does to the price competition.

They sell unlocked controller, it easily hits 33-35 mph on just throttle if you purchase it. Have one on my freesky Himalaya and it goes 32 strong just throttle. Awesome bikes have 2200miles and zero issues on mine. Absolutely love it and will prob get the Alaska in 6months or so.

Well the larger capacity of the battery the less voltage sag, more voltage, more speed. Imagine what that car that you passed thought, here is this crazy guy pedaling like crazy going 37 mph. LOL. Actually if you think about it the 20mph top throttle range might be a benefit if you need to go long distance. You could get it to 20mph, put on the cruise control(set and forget) and with that much battery you could probably get some really nice range out of it.

My 60ah battery ebike can do 170 miles throttle only @ 20 mph. 85 miles is definitely not bad at all for that price

While it's nice having lights on a bike to be seen by more people you absolutely can not depend on them to be seen. With or without lights you need to ride as if you are both invisible and worthless to anyone driving a car or truck. You have to be the one keeping yourself safe constantly. No different than riding a motorcycle or being a good defensive car driver really

so long as its legally an ebike u wont have to have a license or insurance. But this is faster than 20mph so its a unauthorized motor vehicle which is not road legal and probably wouldnt pass safety tests other motorcycles have to pass to become road legal.

Meh… it’s not bad but I think you get a better/safer bike with metal fenders (those plastic fenders are trash and the front offers little protection), and the accessories are pricey for what you get. Offer the trash components but also offer good components so at least we would have an option. Otherwise it looks like you’re just trying to rip off your customers offering them cheap crap

There is always going to be tradeoffs. The bike could be way better and there is also way better bikes made.. all of which are way more expensive too. Put your own metal fenders on the bike.
