Yes the mattes are terrible. The shimmers are my favourite. Swiss Beauty Craze Eyeshadow the one that comes in orange packaging that one has amazing formula. Both matte and shimmers are nicely pigmented and affordable too.

You should try revlon's certainly red. My daughter is darker than you and it's so beautiful on her. Then she also applies romands cherry bomb from juicy lasting tint on it, just for fun.

Ooh yessss i think you have muted olive undertone like me, perhaps on the neutral side. I came to this conclusion from how even a partially muted lipstick looks bright on you and the good brick shade from peripera looks warm red almost orangy red. I have muted cool olive undertone but I'm around NC35. And only muted lippies look good on me, partially muted looks bright and anything saturated looks neon whereas most stuff looks warm on my skintone (eg. Swiss beauty brandy Harington is a browny peach on me, no pink in sight *sigh*). I wanted to get the Good brick shade but after watching this video i know it'll just look orangey red on me which isn't so flattering unless i wear lots of makeup, i have the lakme lip and cheek mousse you showed and its my flattering red AND it does not make me look gecko green either 😂 highly recommend it for people who are scared of red, as it can be blurred to a tint

i've accidentally found that adding a neutral light concealer to any lipstick can also help in figuring out the undertone
