@@eerielconstantine5051 I agree with what you are saying. My point is that the husband should have told House that he has/had an STD. You worry about the finer points, later. If you are going to cover up your sin, then take it to the grave with you. I dont know about in medicine, but I work in an office handling corporate tax and accounting and having a colleague to question or contradict things is probably the best thing I could ask for and vice versa. By having multiple views and disagreements it's probably the best way to either explain why you're right and why the other person is wrong, or the best way to explain yourself from right into being wrong by finding your own flaws while arguing. It's a lot like when you try to explain or teach something to a kid from a subject you think you know, and while doing it you realize where you might have some gaps or contradictory facts in your basis of thinking.

Nah that's not realistic at all. The gonorrhoea didn't kill her, the gonorrhoea caused the fever that led to the car crash however ultimately she was the one who chose to get in the car. Not gonna justify cheating. But i have seen coworkers talk about their wives. The amount of begging and bending over backwards they have to do to get laid by their own wife is insane. Then there are the wives that weaponizes sex to get whatever they want from a guy. Again not a reason to cheat but enough reason to consider divorce. Now if you still feel that strongly about this ep, then I would like you to revisit the episode called fidelity.

Do you mean to say getting tested every few months should be made mandatory? But even that's as impossible as stopping people from cheating by making a law. People cheat for various reasons. Sometimes their partners are awful jerks. It's the responsibility of any good person to get themselves tested and know if they are safe, and their partners are safe.

@@grace52775 I disagree. Retributive justice feels very tempting, it's a sophisticated form of revenge, and that's what most societies do. However, it's useless in solving the problem. There's a difference between supporting the victim emotionally / financially and taking their side. Taking sides is stupid, it means you refuse to scrutinise the situation beyond a point, which would be unfair according to the current judicial standards. Partner cheating on you may be emotionally hurtful but there could be several reasons for that. ...Ethical polyamory would be much better. But please don't be under a misconception that you won't catch STIs if you are monogamous 😂 All it requires is contact, not necessarily direct involvement. Sometimes you may not know if you've come into contact.

Aaaaannnnndddd this is yet another reason cheating is unacceptable. Also, can someone please explain the mentality behind…They cheated on me and I found out about it. They may or may not know that I know; but I’m going to get back at them by cheating too. WTF kind of logic is that?! First of all, if they don’t know that you know, how have you ‘gotten back’ at anyone?! Even if they know you know…just, WHY?? Punishing someone that doesn’t know they’re being punished is a waste of time for all involved. Potentially getting an STD in the course of being that stupid to begin with isn’t worth it.
@rayf6126

The mentality about cheating in revenge but not immediately telling your partner is often in the waiting time you can be super sweet and sort of repair the relationship so it's more devastating when the lies come to light. The other way is to be cruel in extremes without explanation because the original cheating spouse considered losing you a reasonable consequence but likely wouldn't enjoy having a horrifically angry spouse around. Divorce isn't the punishment, the anger is.
