Awesome trophy room! That skull with the broadhead between the eyes is really cool. I remember watching you make that shot. That was a neat hunt.

Great video and thanks for sharing. One thing you might want to do if you ever have to do it again, or for anyone reading comments, is take an old garden hose and cut 3-4 inch pieces and push down on the tines of antlers, taping at the base where necessary on smaller points like whitetail antlers. If the antler is big enough, like the elk, the diameter will cause the tube to tighten when you push down so no tape is needed. Leave at least 2 inches of hose sticking out past the end of each antler tine. This is how my caribou came from the taxidermist, so I can't take credit for the idea. Cheers

OMGosh that is soooo cool!!! I'm a bit sad you left my home of Iowa...I'm sure you guys will be missed! I'm currently in San Diego..but am strongly considering moving to Texas...Dallas actually and of course will be looking for a church, if I do end up moving there and will come check you guys out. Man I'd love to see those mounts!!! Congrats and Congrats and the move and new home and new life there now! Looking forward to the tests and videos and hunts..and of course our mutual love for KUIU LOL.

The axis is my favorite, I hunted axis and was unsuccessful but got a black buck, also really wpuld like a mule deer and pronghorn

Yeah, I sure wish I could have done one by now. The move to TX has messed up my timing. I couldn’t do one in Iowa while we were getting ready to move then it’s taking so much time to settle in here in TX and get my arms around my new ministry. I did just reach out to the regional Bowtech rep last week, but haven’t heard back from him yet. Hoping to get connected with a shop here and get something going in the not so distant future. Sorry about the delay.
