Haaa I did the same with a chopper I got last year. Never try them out in a house. Looking forward to seeing this in the field and what you do with it

Nice. I was looking at these. Love the look. I assumed it flew like the other stabilized heli. Looking forward to watching your experience with it. Happy (rotary wing) flying!

Watched it. Oh my! Apologizes for laughing but that was the funniest thing I have see today. The look on your face was priceless and perfect. And you avoided saying "Ooooh, sh_t" that I would have blurted out. Like a pro. Apparently the scale 4-blade head requires a higher rotor speed at this tiny size to achieve enough lift, which in turn makes the cyclic more sensitive in pitch and role. It didn't look as stable as the E129. More sensitive like one of my 3D heli's with high rotor speeds. Speaking of which, I did NOT like the way the rotor just spun up with a jolt. That was disturbing. The E129 was more controlled. No hope for whatever went "crash" I suppose, but hoping the bird fared better. I do not see replacement parts available yet. Looking forward to the outdoor maiden and you taming this bad boy. Happy hovering!

Hehehe...after wathcing the video I was reminded of Ralphie in Christmas Story. I thought...Oh No....I'm Ralphie ;-) Yes, it popped up abruptly off the table and I was moving the throttle stick slowly. Definitely and outdoor Heli ;-) No harm to the Heli and I may....fingers crossed....have a small window of opportunity early tomorrow.

I found one of these for $60 shipped, so I pulled the trigger and have one on the way. Gotta satisfy the curiosity. I also found replacement bodies with the camo paint for around $12. So if I like it I might make a body swap. A heli brushless mod might be beyond my skill-sets though. Happy flying!

Scout helicopter, but also can be equipped with rockets for the anti-insurgency role.

Hi Marco! You're going to have a lot of fun with this one. I like that 4-blade rotor a bit better than the 2-blade rotors. It has a nice sound and plenty of lift. See you in the Air!

Still don't understand why They havent made Big Foam Choppers for around the same price an size as Our beloved 1100mm and such? Beauty GCRC, My Phoenix 2000 went down in flames today, just like the S model motor fried when I mistakingly stuck a 3S in it. The smoke pouring out and leaving a trail both times looked unreal!

I need one made out of Nerf Foam ;-) A NerfCopter! Oh No! Was it recoverable? I'm going to set mine of for 3S as I could easily make that mistake.

If only you had that on camera. ;-) Helicopters are far more complex with collective and cyclic hardware due to using rotary wings to fly with, while aircraft stay in the air via big dumb wings (no complex mechanics). Big heli's need bigerg expensive motors and bigger expensive batteries too.

To me, your gray table has no sufficient pattern for optical flow monitoring. Good Luck with your wife.

@@GroundControlRC Another thing about optical flow aside from ground patterns, reflective surfaces are a no no ànd water is your biggest enemy.

@@rodinvillarosa2924 Hi Rodin! I didn't think about that but you're right. Water, Ice, Snow would all be smooth and reflective. I won't have to worry about water in the Desert but Snow would certainly be an issue in the Winter. See you in the Air!
