My code turns out to be 2-3-2, Fuel trim (lambda control) too lean or too rich at idle which is either a leaky injector (if too lean) or bad oxygen sensor (if to rich).

good video. just a small tip it gave they impression you were blaming rob if it didn't work.if anything praise him he gives a idea were to go and i have they exact car

Mechanic determined it to be a vacuum leak. Let's hope that is all. The CEL and codes were gone by the time I got it to the shop. They saw the CEL, but it turned off by the time they started their diagnosis.

Hey, I got a '95 960, and I have a check engine light on as well. I tried to use the OBD system for an earlier time it came on, but I tore the cord off the plug. How do I fix that, and get an accurate reading off it? I hope I don't have to pay too much for it. Thanks!

I don't really know. Maybe ask Robert, as I'm sure he has more experience in that. Maybe you could get another cord from a junkyard that has more wire on it, and splice it back together. I know it's a short cord and not much to play with.

You can buy an OBD2 plug on ebay and solder it on to the cable. Pin 7 is the OBD2 connection.
