I still have my grandfather's and dad's tools. Now I have my own tools, cars and many diecasts. I still have all my matchbox and hot wheels cars from the mid 60s on to present. Yep, I still buy little cars. 64 years old and still buy little cars and totally enjoy it! Cheers Terry

'51 Fords always had the chrome ' spears ' at the back of the car attached to the tail lights . It was one of the only changes between a '50 and a ' 51 . It turned into a problem because water got trapped under the chrome and rusted the rear quarters real bad . Real neat collections and great for the remembrances you must have . Thanks for sharing !

That little Ford truck is a 1946/47 model year. That convertable Woody is a 46 Sportsman. Also nice group of shoebox Fords. Had a '53 Customline Fordor. Fun to drive..

I still have one of those Exact Miniature Monogram cars. I bought it back when I had HO scale trains. Mine is a Mercedes Benz 2.8 16, which was one of my favorite cars back then.

My dad built the 1925 model t classic collector model in the green and white strip box when I was a kid.I found them on line I m going to buy one one day and maybe just put the kit up.When I see the kit it reminds me of my dad .

Hi Matt, The 1949 Fords had the Ford script on the hood and pull out door handles. The 1950 Fords had the Ford emblem on hood and push button door handles, just an FYI. Hope you feel better soon and keep making the great videos.

One of my favorite models is a 66 Chevelle that I had a friend kitbash the 66 flip nose and a 67 Chevelle to make a model of my mother's first car. It sits on my entertainment center and I think about her every time I look at it. I think about her much more than that also. She passed away 8 years ago. Your father had a nice collection of cars. Some people have that many full size cars. Whether or not they are full size or scale models, all cars seem to have a story. They are all memories.

Jada cars (your dad's Chevelle) are almost always of undetermined scale even if they put one on the box. That Chevelle is called out to be 1/24 but it's closer to 1/20. The Greg Trammell car is ARCA and was driving old Bill Elliott cars for Harry Melling a couple of times.

The 55 T Bird doesn't have the port hole window because it is supposed to be the soft top, not the hard top.
