Damn, it's so good when you see teachers trying their best in school. I did trash all the way through school mainly because I was stuck in the lowest set for everything and everyone in there just couldn't behave. Our set was known for being the worst set in the school and everyone would kick off like every lesson so you never learned anything. After I left school with like D's and E's I had another chance in college to resit my maths and english GCSE's and I worked really hard and I got my C's I needed. I could of got higher grades but the teachers I had kinda didn't give anyone a chance and they would not let me sit the higher grade paper and I took the paper known as the foundation paper were the highest grade you can get is a C. I know that if I could of sat the higher paper I could of got a B. So, I requested to sit maths and English again the following year and got a B in both. I now work as a Paint and Decorator and Part-time PC builder and I think I did well enough. Sorry for the ramble lol.

Learning times tables is brute force really, I knew most of my times and division tables to 12 by the end of yr 4, because we had to do assorted speed tests where we got 50 questions to answer and tried to know them, and the times tables were homework material with 2 new set every week.
