look how clean their tumbling is!! nowadays theyve sacrificed cleanliness for difficulty and all of the skills are all over the place. wish we could get back to this, but at the same time its amazing to see how far alltar cheer has com in a relatively short time

youtube nj spirit exposion coed 2005. we did quadruple toe backs and had 5 standing fulls. we were one of the best of the era and didn't get an invite to worlds because we got disqualified at NCA due to a severe injury that required the music to be stopped.

concentrating on the talent and skills of the sport and showing off what you learned is the whole point. no point in have a clean sharp routine if the routine is boring.

@kellinpink1999 shooting stars didn't make their first appearance until 2006. They got 6th. I believe senior elite went the same year and got 21st or 22nd and didnt make finals.

Its amazing how much the industry has changed! This year at worlds you would never win with one of your hardest passes be front walkover roundoff through to doubles! Wow it just amazes me! they were super sharp too! and i agree with topscore100 MAYBE Cheer Extreme too! and im a big fan of them too!

talakik nope, they had jackets and a Worlds globe, back then the crystal globes were detachable. They also had a banner, but it was a much more basic design than the world champ banners today

So 2004 was the first worlds? How many divisions were competing? Did WCSS and SE go to the first worlds comp?

usasf stands for united states all star federation and iasf stands for international allstar federation. the first usasf worlds was in 2004 and the first iasf worlds was in 2006. in 2004, the only divisions were senior all girl level 5 and senior coed level 5. in 2006, the only divisions were large senior all girl level 5, small senior all girl level 5, large senior coed level 5, small senior coed level 5, international open all girl level 5, and international open coed level 5. at worlds 2019, there were too many divisions: extra small senior all girl level 5, extra small senior coed level 5, small senior all girl level 5, small senior coed level 5, medium senior all girl level 5, medium senior coed level 5, large senior all girl level 5, large senior coed level 5, senior open all girl level 5, small senior open coed level 5, large senior open coed level 5, international open all girl level 5, international open small coed level 5, international open large coed level 5, international open global all girl level 5, international open global coed level 5, international open non-tumbling all girl level 5, international open non-tumbling coed level 5, international open all girl level 6, international open small coed level 6, and international open large coed level 6. that's ridiculous! worlds went from having 2 divisions to having 21 divisions. i hope worlds 2020 will have less divisions, but i assume there will probably be me. and, world cup shooting stars' first worlds was worlds 2006, and cheer extreme allstars senior elite's first worlds was worlds 2007.
