Thanks. I grew up playing keyboards and have a definite love for arpeggiators and drum machines. Yeah, that Miami Vice era was definitely in the back of my brain when this came out.

I'm not sure about new, but thank you. It was one of the musical doodles that stood out to me after fiddling with the SL-2 for a while. I hope it showed a lot of the fun I get out of the pedal.

@@HomeInMyShoes Maybe you could put another SY1 pedal in the send return loop. That would be even more fun.

@@tomheineman4369 That would be fun. I've never been overly interested in the SY-1. Probably because I play keyboards as well, but maybe that's a mistake. Thanks for the idea. I was thinking a Death By Audio Total Sonic Annihilation would be fun to pair with it. Choices. Always choices.

@@HomeInMyShoes I don't like fuzz but I like octave fuzz.

​@@tomheineman4369 the TSA isn't fuzz, but lets you feed a pedal back into itself. Fuzz can be tricky. I have one that is just a smooth distortion and one that can ve a pretty wide range of crazy.

It was so long ago that it is something I should spend some time receating. Because this is just a single take (no loops, no overdubs) my tips are to keep the level mid to low so that you get a lot of original guitar signal and the pedal acts more like a background beat box. It's in the SFX/Harmonics section and probably 7 or 8 on the variation (that is subject to be entirely wrong.) Attack is probably around 10ish and Duty is probably around 2ish. Those are my favourite controls because it really gives a wide range of options for almost every pattern you select.

December 19th! It's a little different (less riff-oriented), but it's another SL-2 doodle that is not as ambient as some things. I need to finish the Modesto Sessions off and then I can work with the pedal a bit more.
