I think it's important to remember that what Beale did at QPR was made considerably easier by the work that Warburton had done previously. It's not as if he took on a squad that had been badly mismanaged by Steve McClaren or Mark Hughes. He is now moving to a big fish in a small pond. So he is basically a manager who wants a job with a budget that makes it easy. It's something that anyone would want, but a great manager should be able to work with something much more difficult, more difficult even than working with our budget in the championship.

Steven Gerrard hit out with the same "I'm not leaving, I'm the definition of loyal" speech and then fucked off a week later when the first decent job was offered to him so I know how you lot feel but Beale's kids were basically raised in Glasgow and were never settled down in London/Birmingham, family always comes first.

I think you might find he’s going into the same situation at rangers only at an amplified level. He’s inheriting an ageing squad at rangers, dressing room problems and a limited budget. He’s also up against an experienced manager at Celtic who is very organised and has a bigger budget to spend. Rangers fans are expecting success and you might find you will get the last laugh. Things could go wrong very quickly.

Salty guys. QPR are a decent club but they are not Glasgow Rangers. There has only been 17 managers at Rangers Beale being number 18, the opportunity does not come up very often. Not many upcoming manager would turn down the chance. It is an upgrade and no matter how pissed off you feel it was always going to happen no matter who is. Has loyalty been shown by QPR in the past? If successful at Rangers he will no doubt leave us for a bigger team or better .
