Suggestion: Instead of throwing the egg roll away put a wrap to the side and patch up the hole. That’s what I did when a couple of mine busted.

You need to use wooden spoons w Teflon and such surfaces. Regular spoon scratches it and releases harmful chemicals.

Looks delish! Gina, on back of the egg roll wrapper package, you will find step by step photos of how to roll them correctly, which sides to fold first, etc. Always be sure your filling has cooled, do not fill as full as you did, and always have a pointed angle facing you when you begin to roll, not a flat, straight side of the wrapper. When you study the picture steps, you'll understand, plus it will make a difference, a good difference. God bless you. Love your new kitchen!

Mixed crumbled or shredded cheese into the meat then place meat -cheese mixture onto a won-ton wrapper and they may roll up easier. Thanks for sharing. I may make some of these tonight. God bless you.

When my egg roll gets a blow out as I call it......( breaks open as I roll it ) I just add another wrapper.... Works for me! Ive made Taco versions of this. Lay your shredded cheese, then taco meat, little bit of shredded lettuce and tomatoes...chopped/minced up onions.....fry them up and have your dipping sauces on the side... sour cream and guacamole. Different than a taco shell or soft shell....but....pretty tasty.

Similar recipe but easier: Tex Mex Wontons. Browned ground beef, refried beans , cheese and some spices. Seal up in littler wonton wrappers and fry like Gina did. The ingredients Gina used in this recipe could also be used. Thank you Gina for this video! You mentioned you couldn't be happier bringing your recipes to us.
