Remember in editing they can change the response. Since normally audience members also sign contracts, as well as both women, we don’t know all of the details. Plus if the audiences members were fed a ton of misinformation than they would have felt righteous in their response. It could have ignorance or editing, perhaps it was a combination. I place blame on the Pink lady, The Host, and his research team, that is, if he has one. Like who booked her for a guess or was this something a PR team engineered? Because it all felt very strange.

talk shows like this don't allow audiences to react on their own, they are cued to laugh or cheer at certain things. this is why even the worst monologue you've ever heard actually gets applauded, too

Yea, Karamo is supposed to be the writer and communication expert and when it comes down to it, he can't even do some basic damage control PR. I honestly never got anything substantive from him though. He speaks in cliches and as we know now, cannot do remedial PR or a smidge of research for his show. So disappointing.

I think the show was the new company’s idea, or they helped platform her. It’s obv her side set that interview up. Her response on the show didn’t go the way they wished, so apologies are in order.

His role on Queer Eye was fictional, he's got no official license. He is not a therapist but a guy who took a few informative courses and likes to mislead people into thinking he's a therapist with credentials. Multiple news agencies have had to correct the record post article release because he makes them think he's a licensed professional and he's not. That's like someone saying they're a Michelin Star Chef because they work in a kitchen as an assistant. He's not a social worker either, that's his other lie he likes to spin.

The way she speaks does not align with the wordage in the apology. To make matters worse she made a video after the interview to continue victimizing herself to which things got worse for her so the PR side her brand has enough motive to encourage an apology “from her” (not necessarily by her) for damage control.

Pretty sure the fact that allie is white and pee is black is the reason that the show host and audience took pee side and even put all the blame on allie when she graciously tried to end it with saying they were both at fault (even though allie did nothing wrong). Also she still indirectly blamed allie in the apology by saying "should have come from a place of forgiveness not anger". She still does not care about her customer safety or concerns. Luckily I doubt there will be any more issues with the sauce since she isn't the one making it.
