And now that she’s in a position where “desperate measures” are neither needed nor helpful, she isn’t pivoting to healthier behavior. She thinks she’s “getting all she can get” right now, but she’s actually shooting herself in the foot and making if more likely that no one will work with her in the future.

Part of me wonders if the show was set up as PR by Dave’s to try to give fresh footing for their partnership. Unless I am remembering wrong, didn’t she announce their partnership at the end of the show? I’m not saying that that Dave’s wanted it to go down like it did, but I can see a situation where they thought maybe they could massage her reputation and foster some sympathy and goodwill to get things started on the right foot. But she’s incapable of not being an insufferable asshole, so. Either way, Karamo was so out of line and really fcked up. What a big mistake.

This one will probably be studied in college business classes. All she had to do was take some accountability for the initial fiasco, apologize and refund those who bought the bad product. It would have made her a little bit more likable. Then she could have made Tik toks with recipes that highlighted the pink sauce (bonus points if every ingredient in those recipes came from Walmart) and then end with something like “If you like this recipe and want to try it for yourself, everything including the pink sauce can be found at your local Walmart.”

Dave’s Gourmet has really shown how to handle a situation like this. They’ve been very good to her, have very clear contracts, and have answered the rumors in a timely and respectful way. I’ve seen many people say they will buy from Dave’s just because of the great way they have handled this mess. Way to go Dave’s Gourmet, this could be taught in business classes as an example of how to handle media storms. I hope Dave’s is able to turn this stress into cash!

There is proof that she lied about her mother ... at the start of the Pink Sauge in one TikTok she stated she lost her mother when she was very young and had to learn everything on her own. Unless they deducted taxes from everything, and it's not typical to do that for advances, tax season is going to be pretty dark for her. They should sue her, but there’s no point. Lawyers don’t like to take cases suing people who don’t have any money. Dave’s would end up spending thousands more in legal fees and have nothing to show for it. And she DID have a job. Apparently she was a private chef, and Dave’s told her from the beginning not to quit her job because royalties fluctuate and aren’t stable income. So what did she do? Quit her job and relied on the royalties for income…

If she keeps this up, she’s going to find herself in even more debt, and with a lawsuit against her. If she is that desperate for money, she needs to be a mature adult and sit down with the company and try and find a solution instead of doing all of this. But with the way, she has been putting them on blast all over social media, something tells me they’re closer to filing a lawsuit against her then wanting to do more business with her.

This drama should be referenced when teaching young people budgeting and money management. Chef Pii is upset at Dave's Gourmet because she doesn't know how to manage her money. How she managed to blow it all on rent is beyond me. Just because you have a little bit of money doesn’t mean you have infinite money. You still have to live below your means and know what's coming in vs. What's going out.

It’s not their fault she couldn’t handle her money properly. That’s the only reason she’s doing this because she has nothing left. And instead of being an adult, she put them on blast all over social media and if she keeps this up, they are going to file a huge lawsuit against her, which she will not be able to afford. These are the consequences of her actions and honestly she deserves it. I hope it works out for her in the end, but she should know that Walmart and McDonald’s are always hiring.

I remember there was a time where she was saying the sauce was flying off the shelves. 😅 When and where? I used to work at Walmart. I was an overnight stocker. After stocking, I had to "face" (push forward on the shelves) all products that were low on inventory in the isles. I never had to push these forward because they never got restocked as the section for this product was always full. The only time we would ever need to restock something that doesn't sell is if expired.

shaw's only gripe against DG that has even a shade of validity is that the sauces arent the colour she initially advertised, so she keeps screeching it from the rooftops while conveniently forgetting that people had the exact same issue with her own sauce, because weirdly enough it didnt match the bright, dye-like colour she showed in her tiktoks... at least with DG customers can be confident that the ingredients list is actually accurate, made from real dragonfruit, and wont explode en route and/or give you food poisoning. but of course shaw doesn't seem to remember anything about her absolute flop of a 'trial run' release, and doesnt think we do either.

I commented this on another video but I’ll say it again: call me heartless, but she’s just getting what she deserves. Yeah it’s sad because she has kids who did not ask to be stuck in the middle of all of this and yeah it’s sad because she could’ve been a successful businesswoman. But she obviously doesn’t care that much about her kids or her brand. Because she has continuously put herself and the things she wants before both. So yeah this is the repercussions of being a scammer and trying to eat your cake too. She could’ve killed someone and she continues to act like an entitled brat. for the record, dave's gourmet makes really great hot sauce, i knew about them years and years before this happened, their products are super good quality, it's really unfortunate they got mixed up with a shitty person. ghost pepper sauce is 10/10, and one of their sauces was featured on hot ones!

I don't think she has to worry about a reputation of being difficult to work with. Since she is actually impossible to work with having a reputation of being difficult would be an improvement on reality. Second thing she utterly fails to grasp is the main reason DG isn't suing her into the ground is that they don't think she can pay the costs. If she by some miracle manages to be profitable with her sauces that picture would change drastically and it would actually become worth suing her. Her defamatory statements and complete lies would make it an easy victory for DG. She has no clue of how badly she actually screwed herself.

Just one more thing. One reason to buy pink sauce is since DG payed more than they owed in royalties they can deduct that from future royalties. Buying pink sauce would benefit DG and help the recover some of the money they overpaid.
