We are making three healthy smoothies to kick off the New Year. We will start with an Energy Boosting Smoothie, next we will make an Immune Boosting Smoothie and lastly we will make my family's tried and true Green Smoothie which we have every day.
Do you ever have one of those days when you need an extra little push to make it through the day? If so, this Energy-Boosting Smoothie may be just what you need. Filled with wonderfully fresh ingredients packed with energizing properties, it will feed your body and hopefully give that extra energy you need.
Fruit, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and grain feed our body excellent fuel to produce energy. We want to pack as much of these into our diet a possible. This wonderful energy-boosting smoothie does just that, and it is also absolutely delicious.
The Immune Boosting Smoothie is as delicious as it is beautiful. The yellow-orange color is so enticing, and wait until you try its amazing taste. The citrus and ginger give it a fresh, rejuvenating, and healthy flavor. It is delicious enough to be a comfort drink, but the best thing of all is that it is packed full of wonderful immune-boosting ingredients. When I need an extra boost of protection, I make this smoothie.
Have you heard the saying, "you are what you eat"? There is a lot of truth to this simple statement. Fruits, vegetables, and herbs have healing properties, and we can take full advantage of those properties by adding them into our diet. And what better way to incorporate them than a wonderfully delicious and creamy smoothie.
All these recipes are completely plant-based and vegan.

The first and last smoothie would be the go to smoothies for me. I know some people use cayenne peppers in drinks to help lose weight while fasting, this might be a great smoothie for people watching their weight. Great video Ani💕

Another year, another green drink. It's like deja vu all over again, AGAIN. When you were adding the "little sprinkle" of cayenne, I was thinking to myself "Just dump the whole thing in there." Then you did, I feel responsible now. Loved the use of ruby red grapefruit, my favorite. Recently I made this nut free cheese sauce, and I made a nutty cabbage stir fry. So I'm starting the year on the right foot, with two recipes crossed of my list. Oh well, Another year, another green drink. It's like deja vu all over again, AGAIN.

The immune smoothie looks like it would taste amazing. I would add ice and a pinch of salt (to help with the tartness of the grapefruit) to it. 💓

Love the smoothie recipes Chef Ani and will be trying them. With the blueberry i would probably put half blueberries and half blackberries because blackberries have more vitamins, minerals and antioxidants than blueberries. Kiwis have more vitamin C than oranges so they would go into the green smoothie.

Hello best cook in the universe, I loved this mixture of ingredients, fruits and vegetables are very good for our immunity yes, some days I had flu and made a mix of passion fruit, orange and mango drink it and I was fine😊

Love these recipes. Just a couple of pointers: Shea seeds should be hydrated first by mixing them in water so that they are soft when you used them because you do not want the seeds to pull water from your body. Flax seeds should be purchased whole and grind them right before you used them because flax meal goes rancid relatibly quicly. All these info can be found at Dr. Gregor's web site.
