Will a smoothie a day keep autoimmune diseases away?

Dr. Brooke Goldner was slowly shutting down from lupus when she met her husband while on a date with another man. She and her husband formulated a diet that not only reversed her autoimmune disease but also saw her drop several dress sizes in a matter of three months! But it took a lot of love, a lot of greens, and omega 3s.

Spinach has oxalic acid, so you can't drink it every day, just like rhubarb, for example. It is very important to eat or drink a variety of foods, otherwise you can get kidney stones

Faced with a Rheumatoid Arthritis diagnosis, I began making these smoothies for breakfast/lunch everyday. My smoothie is for making my microbiome healthy so I must have as many different items in it as possible. I fill my blender with ten cups of fruits and veggies. Examples: avocado, banana, carrot, celery, yellow squash, zucchini, fermented live culture sauerkraut with beets, lots of green- spinach, kale, collard, bok choy, blueberries, strawberries, apple, mandarins, okra, and whatever new thing that I can find at the store to try. Use what you have. You may have to freeze some things to make them last. I cut off small pieces of each thing to fit it all in. Add ice/and a bit of water and chia or flax seed. I eat mine like an Icee with a spoon as it is very thick. It's the most fulfilling thing I eat now as I can't eat gluten, eggs, dairy, shrimp, or nuts. I've lost 15 pounds and my joints no longer hurt. Going gluten free is the most important part of RA.

@@anmnou With this administration, food has escalated unreasonably due to higher fuel costs. Buying one zucchini per week, one squash per week, etc isn't expensive. It's a lot less than buying packaged foods filled with preservatives and sugar. I eat twice per day. A smoothie around noon and then a regular dinner around 5:30. I don't find that it is more than my regular groceries. If organic isn't available, use regular ones. I started growing my own greens, so that should also defray costs.

I was diagnosed when I was 14 and it was caught late which had already attacked my kidneys. Had kidney function another 12 years before needing dialysis to stay alive. In btw had a flare up and required chemo and tons of meds. Shortly after starting Dialysis diagnosed with cancer along with other issues along the way. Received my kidney transplant 6 years later and Iam still here. Will be trying some juices because there’s many days I still feel sick, bloated, fatigued and drained. Much love and blessings to others fighting this.

I'm definitely going to make these green smoothies for me and the Hubs. we definitely have been combating inflammation for years ending in chronic conditions (diabetes type 2, cancer, seasonal allergies, eczema)..yes, the the type of foods we eat does matter..But the human body is AMAZING! We've adapted a more healthier lifestyle to include juicing, but having Dr. Goldner's info about the "greens" more in-depth and knowing I can make a smoothie my hubs will drink (he doesn't care too much for veggies the way I do)...so here's to another booster challenge for us to integrate into our lifestyle - thanks Dr. G - i've even bought your book and it's on my Kindle...I'll be reading it and applying this to us - appreciate your knowledge and can make it adaptable to us. Plus I really want to get off my meds (eventually)...THANKS A BUNCH!

I used warm epson salt soak alternating with ice pack compress, 10 minutes back and forth like twice. I did it again a few days later when it started to hurt again. It went away for the most part. Now i just use tiger balm ocassionally. The cheap stuff from dollar tree works and even vicks rub.

I think I am healed(in 7 days). Will confirm with blood tests. I was diagnosed with RA after COVID vaccination (coincidence??). There is no RA in the family and never had anything of this sort before. It all started with fingers and other joints making popping sounds. Then started feeling pain in fingers and also had a trigger thumb. Had symptomatic pain in elbows and shoulder joints. Had Plantar fasciitis. I saw my body starting to deteriorate rapidly. I was terribly afraid. Did hours of research in the net. I learnt about healing powers of fasting and diet. First attempt: I tried water fasting for 5 days few months ago. The results were remarkable. Trigger thumb, finger pains and shoulder/elbow pains were gone. Headache was gone. I was back on my vegan diet(I am a lifelong vegetarian and an intermittent vegan...) Unfortunately, I like snacking :) I enjoyed few fried items "everyday". Big mistake. All symptoms came back, except for trigger thumb. It was painful for me to lift my shoulders above my head again(I was able to, but with some pain). Finger(s) pain came back. Second attempt: Immediately after, I started taking proteolytic enzyme(amazon), moringa capsules(amazon), ginger powder(homemade). Took only green smoothie with fruits for 3 days with plenty of water and 0.5 cup flax seed/chia seed (Dr Goldner recommendation). Followed with only raw salad, fruits for 4 days. My everyday cluster headache is COMPLETELY gone(I was taking excedrin almost everyday). My shoulder(s)/elbow pain gone....My fingers are 90% better and it continues to heal. There is a mild discomfort(fingers) in the morning for just 1 minute, which I am sure will be gone in 10days max. There is no more body ache. I sleep like a log. I have so much energy during the day. Feeling liberated....Unbelievable!!!! I was/am able to do the above with complete faith in the infinte almighty. Current experiment: I am starting to include one food at a time to see how my body reacts to each food, so I will know what I can include/exclude. Slowly, I shall see what happens if I stop proteolytic enzyme also. I don't want to be dependent on supplements or any medications. I am looking at making my food as medicine. I hope the above details will be of some help to people who are looking for a cure. Trust me, this solution is very simple and doable. There is no complexity at all in this. If I can do it, anyone can. You all will be MOST DEFINITELY healed.

@@RosbiQ You can do it and you will be healed. Apart from diet, supplements etc....please seek out the infinite power (within you and outside of you) to heal you. My fingers, for the most part, are asymptomatic except in the morning for one minute or so..... Yet, I can see that they are healing, but slowly. I am now able to crack few of my fingers that I was not able to pop(crack knuckles) before. I continue to take Moringa, ginger, proteolytic enzyme. I am planning to stick to Morning and ginger for life, since they both are natural. Moringa, the superfood, has all the minerals and ginger is antiinflammatory.

“Love is what reversed Dr. Goldner’s auto immune disease”. In my case, it was the opposite. It was a very toxic relationship that lead me to a diagnosis of an auto immune disease. I didn’t realized before that stress is slowly killing me. Now, I’m finding ways to manage this disease since there is no cure. Hope that I respond to plant based diet and juicing. But hopefully, medical science can also improve treatments such as immunotherapy.

Yes love is the best medicine. Medical science is evolving and the same time, new ailments are coming into the picture, going back to the mother nature is the only option to get healed from these chronic illnesses. Natural food, specially organic fruits and veggies, limiting the carbs, avoiding the processed foods , yoga and meditation etc. Please try Dr. Bergs videos also, he is more scientific and gives an authentic information.

Actually the moment the body gets what it requires ,its more or less enough to chase diseases and repair My biochemistry lecturer who was involved in Road Traffic accident and sustained multiple very deep skull lacerations up to skull but he refused to be sutured and only told us to wash and leave his wounds , which we did and dreessed with sterile gause and he took high doses of vitamin C and healed very fast and well.

These ingredients have been used by most Seventh Days Adventist, they live longer like 7-9 years than most people because of their lifestyle and faith in God. Loma Linda University in California, that’s their teaching. Am 67 years old and in no medication and I do my exercises, very helpful in having a healthy lifestyle. Dr Oz and Opera had these stories of healthy lifestyle and of how most SDA who follow this lifestyle live longer. Anyone can check it out!! I love her teaching how it’s helping so many people. The dr will not tell you this, she’s doing excellent job!!

Who told you other religions don't have faith in God? Or that believing in God means you will have a longer life on earth? Even an innocent one day old infant dies! This doc is helping us on health don't bring us your religion!
