Did she really reduce the score of the Scottish eggs because she was given two eggs after saying there wasn’t anything wrong with it? Who looks at delicious leftovers like a flaw? Would’ve been better saying it needed more feta.🤣 Otherwise it looks like an arbitrary reduction of a perfect meal so it scores less.

Just want to add one historical fact - Scotch Eggs were inspired by an Indian Dish called Narghisi Kofta. British Soldiers loved Narghisi Kofta which was cooked in Royal Kitchen of Nawab Sirajuddaula. When they went to England they made scotch eggs with the same technique but couldn't make the sauce that is used in creating the kofta.

Please make a rule that chiefs can’t score lower for things like portion size. It’s ridiculous that a dish can be made perfectly but still get points off because it’s “too much” of a perfect dish. That was really annoying and felt like a desperate bid to try to lower the score.

In my country we call "Scotch Eggs" an "Eggball" and it's made with cassava instead of chick pea. We pound the cassava until it's soft, season it and then fold it over the egg coat it with flour then deep fry🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾

I don’t know what an authentic one looks like, but his looks like it’s missing spice and flavour that typically comes with Mexican food. The beautiful spices and flavour that make you want more.

@@SMRCEC it was allllll wrong tbh. You’re right though. He was missing a lot of flavor. This was a very lazy representation of the food and as a Mexican, I’m also offended. Lol

That was the most under-seasoned huevos rancheros of all time. Some hot sauce probably could've saved it tbh
@vivianabanuelos3803

I don’t think anything could’ve saved it unfortunately. He used the wrong tortillas, and didn’t use a homemade salsa for the sauce. :/ also, beans don’t go in the sauce. They’re served on the side. I honestly think people tweak classic authentic recipes to look more appealing/easy to make for people who don’t really care to look into tradition. Sometimes simple recipes and ingredients go a long way. His huevos rancheros were borderline offensive and did not represent Mexican cuisine in the slightest.
