When I was 9 yrs old, I was playing video games and feeling like I was trapped among dummies in public school because class curriculum went so slow for me. I think when we give kids self-paced courses and allow them to achieve at their own pace, we'll see a lot more 9 year olds ready for college, but we'll need to figure out how to allow them to grow as children and young adults while being thrusted into such adult environments at a young age.

He must have exceptional talent and a surroundings that doesn't put him down. I hope the kid enjoys the things he can learn, but also stil has the opportunity to be a kid and have friends to play with.

@@peterslegers6121 no I've not been bullied for being smart. I was bullied for a much stupider reason. I was in a boys school and they bullied me for having reflexes. Apparently not taking a punch is not seen as "manly" so if you block or Dodge they would beat you up for that

I think they were Amazed by it's because I mean Matteo points out "when I was 9 years old I was just watching X-Men" plus they kind of threw a little dig at other people because remember this happened during covid and they are praising the boy for getting stuff done during covid. So really they weren't making fun of him more like most of us. And yes children are smart. I mean don't get me wrong some may have learning disabilities but I still don't think we should treat them like they're idiots. For example here's what I mean why I said that. They talk about CRT for example and the excuse is that they think that white people will feel ashamed about themselves as kids. I said that they're smart because nobody's really going to do that if anything they're going to be like "that's interesting I want to do something about that and help these people. Maybe change the world for the better" or they'll just be a bit more sensitive to certain issues instead of completely ignorant. But for some people just seems that they'll just instantly be ashamed of themselves they're treating kids as if they're idiots and there's no other capable thinking process going on in there brains

This is a great roundtable discussion that had me laughing out loud. But I have one critique. Their discussion about science is very elementary smothered with willful ignorance. Sorry but not sorry. The whole point to science is: “We don’t know, so let’s find out.” It’s not about a body of facts, it’s all about the journey of gaining knowledge.

Here's a wacky fact: I've always dated females around 20 years old........but that's because OLDER FEMALES NEVER HIT ON ME (but younger gals do)......because I'm a musician and artist..........ie, women 28 and above WANT A MAN WITH A NORMAL JOB AND HOUSE AND MORTGAGE, while college girls want fun and adventure (aka ME). I'm 55 now, and teens STILL hit on me every day, while older gals won't give me the time of day! (ALL because too many females are still obsessed with SOCIAL STATUS, ie a man they can SHOW OFF to their circle and family, sigh. Love and attraction are MIA.)

When you're "smart" and you have people around you with the same bullying attitude as in this video... life isn't fun. You often can't even have a normal conversation, because people around you cannot grasp what you're saying, so you'll have to explain everything if you want to close that gap. The Solar System is very large, and Jupiter is within it. Jupiter is very large, hence the interest in its moons/satellites. Galaxies are made up of solar/star systems; & the Galaxies make up the Universe. Kudos to Chelsea Handler for handling all difficult topics admirably!
