in a life long chelsea fan , 48yo. i can’t believe what we have done. embarrassing. we basically finished 5th in my view , poch is a gentleman, managed children , had no striker , no leaders , chronic injuries , we will never know what he could achieve with one or two strikers , more experienced players , etc

People talk about those last 5 games, but in those last 5 games Pochettino was forced to make the changes he did to that team that was winning because of injuries. If not for the injuries he would not have made them. Madueke has been there all season, but he kept him on the bench. As for the players wanting to take penalties, Pochettino threw Madueke and Jackson under the bus who were following his orders that he explained in two press conferences that the player confident to take the penalty should take it and that Palmer was not the penalty taker. You also have Enzo a world cup midfielder, Caicedo a player all the top teams wanted and Sterling the highest scoring winger in Premier League history if you exclude penalties all bought for these reasons in a fight against the top teams and not being provided a platform to produce what they have shown they are capable of under Pochettino's management. of the last 5 games, 2 were won because of one of these players being brought off the bench to save Pochettino from failing to win and the last game was won because of that same player he had been keeping on the bench in games before who only played because the player Pochettino wanted to play was injured following a concussion. This all sounds like disorganisation to me and a team that has achieved what it has not because of, but despite Pochettino's management and more could have and should have been achieved this season. What would Abramavich have done? Pretty much the same thing this Chelsea management have done. It's the right call. Peace and love

As Gunners fan there I was kinda panicking about chelsea challenging next season too because I knew Poch out to prove his worth. I thought if he gets in 2/3 senior players around with them kids they will be lethal. Then Chelsea go and do Chelsea things and now i don’t feel danger from them whatsoever. As a rival fan who doesn't rate poch, I will say he have end my respect. He can't keep accepting players from kindergartens ( 5-10-15 years old) , they even sign a 16-year-old Brazilian for over £60m. This is Chelsea football club, 2 times UCL winner, Europa league winner and 6 times England Champions. As a rival fan, I'm enjoying the downfall though

It's farcical, Poch did a solid job with one of the youngest squads in Europe and the most injuries in the league and they still won't back him. I don't trust the board, I don't trust their vision and I seriously question their business acumen. If they can't see this is just another massive disruption to a very young team that will push us backwards then I don't know wtf they are looking at.

it's strange because when he was failing miserably, the board publicly backed Poch... once the team started to achieve some semblance of success, it's almost as if the board didn't like that. don't forget, qualifying for Europe was financially detrimental to the board because of FFP, and I wonder if Poch said "F it, we're gonna go for it" as a big "screw you" to the board, hence the sacking

Your Not Weird at All! I hate Notifications flooding your phone/tablet/computer. Only Texts and Bank Account transactions are necessary. Everything else you check when your free & want to do so, and your right about possible surprises with Social Media or any other apps/sites. Though I can't compare to someone who runs a Channel using social media platforms for your business. About Poch agreeing to part ways, as Terry has spoken on, this shows the ownership & front office have deeper issues then we knew. I thought Chelsea were becoming a solid team even before their end of season win streak. I'm not a Chelsea fan but it would've been very interesting to see where he could take them next season?? But this is not as much as about Poch as its about Chelsea's front office. Being Coach of Chelsea is still a top club to be coach for, but when looking at why Tuchel, Potter, Poch left/fired (no matter what you think of any of them) it brings up so many issues and questions for any manager who is even interested in the job!

Never thought poch could sit at the same table as top top managers. Boehly has fallen out with another manager. That's 3 now. Chelsea have improved and have a very strong squad.
