I just saw her live for the very first time last night and the setlist was a dream come true. When she started this intro the screams were deafening. I want to go again already.

Me too, in Boston! 🖤 I feel the same way about the setlist, she sang songs I didn't expect to hear (but was hoping to)...to hear that voice of hers live is pure magic, and everyone was under her spell. I've never been to a show where everyone was just standing there listening and watching, and I'll never forget it. Some would think that sounds boring but you'd have to be there and hear her, feel her presence. Not boring at all.

Chelsea is brilliant. Her songs feel like a soundtrack, the lyrics are perfect, she's both dark and beautiful and the video is like watching a disturbing memory... what else can you ask for?

Absolutely. She is masterful at blending genres & her voice is so unique in that it's sweet & delicate but also dark & menacing at the same time. She has excellent control over her voice as well, and I love how she can switch from light to dark in an instant (Iron Moon" for example.) Truly one of the best artists out right now.

I did not think i could ever find a voice more captivating and musical work more visceral than Beth Gibbons and Portishead until I found Chelsea years ago. She's the singular most important artist of her generation by a staggering margin. Chelsea, thank you for being you. I cherish the memory of watching you and the band live. Truly incredible.

Yep! That was my fav part, especially the end shot right before "THE CULLING" spelled out in hair, where she's on the floor & starts to look up & it cuts away right before she makes direct eye contact with the camera - ugh, masterfully shot. And you can tell she has a hand in all her videos/photo shoots. I wouldn't be surprised if she co-directed them. Goddess!

I'm a 43 year old guy that loves Chelsea's music because I discovered her opening for Queens of the Stone Age in 2012. I thought that she was different from the usual forgettable opening bands. Totally outside my usual music taste but I like her stuff.

The word culling is to slaughter animals. I think that the women in her family are the animals being slaughtered. And how you said the physical embodiment of a darker self. I think it's the love and hate for her great grandfather. Sweet dead eyes I long her see you again. References her grandmother still longing for him even when he has caused so much pain

I think that part represent the corpse in the sarcophagus, you see all the hair ground twisted and the blood with tissue going out... It's a beautiful representation of something painfully to think about the dead people that I love.
