I did the inner clean detail then let it cure and dry. Later I put on Lucas slick mist tire and trim shine ....... it looks really good. The whole interior looks brand new!

Mike nice job! I have used a ceramic wipe down on the interior before, after I have used an uv protectant.

I was wondering about this comparison and googled and your review was there. Great review. I love the inner clean. It does work better than those cheaper interior cleaners. I have a new car that I keep clean and wipe the dash regularly. I used inner clean on a clean and new dash and saw a difference. I can only imagine how it would work in a dirty car. I was curious about the Hydro clean but will wait till I am out of Inner clean to buy or try it. You know what they say about Chemical Guys. They have so many products that do the same thing. Its hard to keep track of them. They make so many different products to make money and keep selling products. Thanks again for the great review!

On a dirty car, definitely need there hyper clean which is an APC then use Inner clean, or any multi surface cleaner first then inner clean, can’t go wrong with lithium products, which are available on my website detaildepot.co

How's the protection against the dust sticking? Chemical Guys states that it protects from that ever so slightly, just curious.

Good review Mike. Very good point about going with the original version for much cheaper and the fact it actually does MORE! There's far too much hype about not only ceramic but the whole graphene thing too! Sure, it may work just as well or maybe better than other options, but in my opinion, good ole' carnauba wax provides great protection on my garage kept Nissan 370Z. My entire vehicle is super hydrophobic and I would put it up against any other sealant or wax as far as hydrophobics, water beading, and sheeting. And it looks fantastic too! There is so much disparity in detailing products these days. To be honest.......there's just too many of them. The amount of detailing products and tools we have to select from these days is MIND BLOWING!!!!! I've been detailing my cars for 40+ years now since I was 16. Back in the day, you got it done with some Turtle Wax Zip Wax soap, Turtle Wax Original Formula (goopy green stuff) wax, a single bucket (normally a large pot off the stove back then that double purposed as a weekly wash bucket! LOL. And maybe a worn out terry bath towel relegated to detailing for drying off the car. Interior was normally done with a bottle of Fantastic that y our Mom had and let you borrow for weekend touch ups. That was my first detailing "kit"! LOL

Yes, I asked Team Chemical Guys directly if it was for leather and they said for non-porous surfaces such as vinyl and imitation leather(leatherette)

Do we really need ceramic inside the car? I'm with you, it belongs outside. UV protection is more important inside in my opinion. Great review Mike! Go Mike1000!

I just used this and didnt see any difference from other cleaner. maybe it picked up a little more dirt but maybe my car was a little dirtier then usual. Will see if it last longer and repels dust.I have my doubts

I have used the inner clean and it works well and smells very nice but I would not be inclined to try the Hydro. I mostly use P&S Interior and Lithium Hyper clense and top it off with silk shine.

Hyper cleanse is an all purpose cleaner, you should try hyper cleanse then inner space after....you will love it

CG actually says the proper way to use the hydro is use bare bones or total interior first for a deeper clean and then apply hydro.

Only if the interior is really dirty. If its just a light layer of dust and maybe some fingerprints or such, you can straight out use this product.

@@MikesAutoDetailing I tried their ceramic car wash several months before Griots started releasing anything ceramic based a few years ago, and I was really not impressed, same with their low end spray on ceramic... I gotta say, when Griots claimed they didnt hop on the band wagon and waited until they could release a good product, they where not just saying that to toot their own horn. I keep looking for excuses to try a CG product here or there, but never can seem to come up with one... To be honest, the brand kinda strikes me as one of those Instagram trendy brands that for some reason happened to take off... in spite of being nothing but an Instagram trendy brand

Pretty expensive for a interior cleaner. I have been using CG inner clean for years and it works good and smells great ( pinacolada ). Plus, touch screens are getting bigger and bigger so why would you not want to use a interior cleaner capable of using on them

Man oh man I've been super disappointed with Chemical Guys lately. I just picked up their new compound and polish set. Hopefully I won't regret that purchase. Oh and Inner Clean totally rocks!!! I use it for maintenance clients and new car prep.

I started detailing with chemical guys and as I’ve grown in my career I’m slowly separated myself and weeded off their products. I’ve come to realize now that because a lot of their products do the same thing but they advertise them differently it has slowed me down in my progression. It’s a shame that they are doing this and I feel bad for the young detailers like how I was who will use only chemical guys starting out and deal with the confusion and frustration I dealt with “growing up” in my detailing career. I wonder if anyone else agrees with this and understands what I’m saying plz share your thoughts!

@@MikesAutoDetailing I use a mixture of everything my main line products I use every detail are; Invisible glass Gyeon wet coat Carbrite blue max Zep citrus degreaser C.G Mr pink C.G degreaser Superclean Dms tire shine Wheel cleaner and tire dressings I’m going to be changing in the near future I’ve been using a bunch of different wheel cleaners trying to find the best one for me and same thing for dressing I’m trying to switch to a tire coating instead

The usual CG marketing spiel and big words on the label then? The trouble I have with their products is way too many and far too much crossover and duplication...IMO There are a few good ones in there but they're way too late to the SIO2 marketplace

Too expensive. Lithium’s Innerspace or Adams Interior Cleaner with Microban are better choices. If not those two, properly diluted Extreme Solutions Tsunami. I would pass on that Chemical Guys product.

For sure, Inner space is by far better
