Bottom line.... Read the label on your food and err on the safe side by avoiding Chinese food products. It will largely ensure that contamination is avoided; however not ensure its avoided as many producers use Chinese produced ingredients. This contamination is probably largely contributing to the spike in cancers.

This really doesn't surprise me with that mob. I've watched a documentary on them dredging fatbergs out of drains under the street and processing cooking oil out of it. Absolutely horrendous.

China also has a major problem of people reusing cooking oil and broth. There is a whole business of people recovering oil from the drains and selling it back to restaurants for cheap. A lot of restaurants have also been caught reusing the leftover broth of spicy hot pots and selling it back to customers.

This is how Chinese products can be so cheap. just skip all unnecessary process to save cost

This is nothing compared to people extracting oils from public sewer pipe.

Meanwhile here in the US, they still keep Crisco on the shelves along with seed oils, that are horrible for your health.

It amazes me that China, who has had land taken by Russia, would rather bond with Russia than the U.S. The U.S. definitely has its issues, but it seems like China would be in a much better place right now working with US than with Russia.

At least in China they are investigating. In UK, authorities brushed it under the carpet. Truckers know what's happening but no one wants to say anything whem you're making good money.

Gutter / sewage oil used to cook foods came to mind. Here is a quote from Usain Bolt 2008 Beijing Olympics, "“Honestly, I ate nothing else in all my time out in China except [McDonald’s] chicken nuggets. They were the only food I could properly trust which wouldn’t affect my stomach."

The same thing was going on in the US until about 25 years ago. The DoT initiated a reg requiring tanks be rinsed clean after every load.

This is first reported about 15 years ago. And 2015 also had similar reports. So just a kind advise to the KZfaqrs recently rushed to China to shoot videos, don’t eat anything randomly in some small street stores , even big-brand restaurants are not safe enough. Take care
