This is much needed information. Thank you so much for this video. I’ll be having my first chemo treatment on Monday, 7.2.2022 and I’ve been researching a lot re chemo beforehand. I got my port inserted during my surgery to remove my cancer in early Jan. and I’m hoping treatment goes well, with God’s will. Hope everyone who will be undergoing treatment have positive days ahead! ❤️

As an onc nurse, this, in my opinion, is brief and to the point. Covers the most important points for patients. I tell all my patients, drink lots of water, walk at least 15-30 minutes daily (this is the activity that most likely can decrease fatigue) and eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables (wash them well but eat canned if pt's white cell count count is low.) A good source of protein is also encouraged. Also, REST when needed. Rinsing orally daily is also important to prevent oral sores which can become problematic when eating. Call your health care provider for any and all concerns. God bless.

How many people die of cancer who receive chemotherapy? Regardless of stage. Is it 50/50, 40/60 or better results of 20/80? How else does one decide whether to have chemo without knowing this statistic?

@@whitefox212 I can understand substituting chemo. for cannabis/c.b.d. treatments but not supplements. That’s a very dangerous advocation. You can try boosting your immune-system all you like but once there are malignant cells in your body some sort of treatment (even if it’s weed or hemp tincture-oil) is indispensable if you want to stand a decent chance of surviving and recovering.
